    I don't think it's too white.

    --------stuck in box---
Are you going to wear a black sweater or jacket on top? That would help balance out the white too.

I like the idea of a sweater and/or leggings! :) it'll tone down the white. The dress is gorgeous though! :)

I'm having freebirds. Decided to go for a 'healthier' taco bell. That being said, if they'd had any pot brownies, I probably would have gotten one, then felt sick and guilty. But omg, the gooey delicious chocolateness of their boot brownies is soooooo good!
  • Yay for lots of good appointments today!

I had a really weird and terrifying dream... I felt something in the back of my throat and so reached to pull it out, and I pulled out an entire jumprope! Think like in The Ring when she pulls all that hair out of her mouth... AAHHH!!!! Then someone was hired to try and assassinate my dog, so they were following us and I was trying my best to hide her from the assassin! So weird. And disturbing.

I am at work and can only see some of the siggy pictures. They are hilarious! I especially love @tunnel and @MissyCee! If I have one that is already taken, please someone let me know! I don't want to steal anyone's!

H & I went to BBB yesterday to check out strollers. We loved how sleek & simple - and light - the B Safe/B Agile combo is, so that's our stroller. Just waiting for a better sale on Amazon! (Saw it at $319 a few weeks ago...)

I got the B Agile for my toddler about 6 months ago after lusting over it for months. He does great in it and he just turned 3. We got the cow insert and the black one- everything has held up really well. Compared to the Chicco cortina travel system we had with him as a baby I am much happier with the B Agile and excited to use it as a travel system with new baby. Check Kohls- we got a good deal when we used the 30% off.

    Edit: words.
  • I never go on the desktop version, but after all the comments about the siggies, I might have to go off mobile and check things out.

So the doctor asked me today if I was feeling the baby moving. I said, "I think." And he said, "Well, let's take a look." And put the Doppler on my belly, listened for the heartbeat, notified me that it was moving... But how, exactly, is that confirming that the movements I think I'm feeling are the baby moving? When all I'm focused on is the noise and the cold Doppler goo, I'm not really feeling light flutters! I feel like it was a poor transition, even though it wasn't completely inaccurate. Of course he can't confirm that it's the baby! I am still half convinced I'm just feeling gas. Lol
  • @AGM0616‌ I'm 18wks 2ma. I sometimes think I might have felt the first movements, but then tell myself it was just gas (which it probably was). I know that eventually I'll feel it and 'know' for sure! The waiting game is tough, though.

I just found out about another child resale shop! (Called kid-to-kid) I want to go check out! My major purchase items I still need: a second convertible car seat (the graco 4ever from babies r us, probably), some sort of highchair, and a stroller! So many small things still needed though.

Question for highchairs!!! Who has one? What do you love? I really want the graco tot-lock which of course is either recalled or no longer for sale, anywhere. Has anyone tried the highchairs that attach to the normal dining chairs? I might make a separate thread for this in a day or two, since this stuff gets lost in the random thread. :)
  • @DragonflyDreaming Kid-to-Kid is a resale shop, so I wouldn't necessarily recommend buying a used carseat from there. Other than that, I've seen some of the stuff they have and they seem to have a really good selection.
  • @DragonflyDreaming‌ We use a highchair/booster seat that attaches to a normal dining chair. It reclines and has a four point harness for use with an infant, then the back section with shoulder straps comes off and the base is a booster seat with waist strap for a toddler. Our table is in our kitchen (no real dining room) and is too small for a full highchair. It was also really easy to bring with us to friend's/family's houses when visiting. Just be sure to put a towel/plastic cover under the chair if you have cloth cushioned seats to keep them clean.

I dont want to bump yesterdays thred so if I forget anyone, I apologize!! And if anyone is curious about the results I can update later, we decided to add vitamin c(natural antihistamine) to her food every day since she cant overdose and shell just pee it out. We started with 4000 mg last night. She loves the sweet taste so far! Well also be buying some doggy boots LOL. Maybe I can find some super awesome doggie converse boots.

@RQuinlin‌ thank you very much! What's shitty is a VET told us to use it in the past. Glad we didnt stick with it!

@jack12trip‌ @janda426‌ i cant soak her paws cause shes too strong for me, and I dont think we could manage to give her a bath anywhere other than outside on the grass and another pp said wet grass sticks to them more.

@Carmar3‌ shed just play in the water. I wish I could upload a photo but mobile sucks. She goes all demon dog in hose water haha.

@rm2013‌ @Aeml1985‌ im gonna buy a pair of doggy boots. I agree it sound way easier then trying to fight with my dog over clean paws.

@wendyld‌ She does spend a lot of time outside so I feel guilty for cutting her time short although I know its best for her until we find a solution. Unfortunately benadryl and clariton dont work.
  • My daughter just came home from school all upset because a boy on the bus was mean to her and popped the balloon she got as a prize. She's ASD and doesn't normally go into so much detail about things so it really upset me and I'm crying over it

  • I'm laughing at all the new siggies and shuddering at some of them. I'm on day three of this cold and felt well enough to come in to work. I'm thinking it was not a good idea and will probably leave soon.

@janda426 I'm really glad things worked out well with your brother moving out.

I'm glad to hear that you like that kind and have used them! I think I prefer the look of the link you shared, though, totesmcgotes.

@kcbizme‌ yeah, I don't think I'll get a used car seat! Planning to get it from babies r us with a 20% off coupon, hopefully! Plus graco has a 25$ mail in rebate for their car seats at the moment! :) It becomes more reasonable that way. ;)

@ruemorgan‌ I hope that works for your dog! It'll take some getting used to the dog boots when yoi first get them, so you might want to go 'cheap' first let him get used to them in case he chews them off or loses one.

@kellbell1982‌ I'm so sorry about your daughter. :( Kids can be pretty cruel, especially on the bus. Do you know the boy? Maybe it's a recurring problem (the teasing) and you can talk to his mom? Give your daughter a huge hug and let her pick her favorite meal or dessert. :) Shower the love!

I'm not sure who the boy is she hasn't been clear about it but if it continues I'm definitely going to have a talk with the bus driver to find out

I would just be concerned that maybe she hasn't brought up the teasing? I had one year there was a boy on the bus that harassed me every day. It was never anything too major, but it was hurtful, for a year, and really messed with my emotions. I never did tell my parents about it. If she has problems telling you things, it's not something she might bring up (unless there was a trigger, like the balloon). Please please please don't take this as me suggesting what you do! I just still feel emotional about that time on the bus and don't want your daughter to be hurt emotionally, in that way! Mine was only solved because my mom started driving my brother and I to school the next year.
  • I am not one to use the hormone excuse, in fact, I have been extremely even tempered and happy for the past 18 weeks. But today, I went through the gamut of emotions, from desperate to hopeful, teary to laughing hysterically, frenzied to calm and peaceful. I knew it was happening but I just couldn't stop it....

  • I love the idea of putting a towel under the seat to save the chair! I meant to say that in my earlier reply. :)

Well, kid-to-kid is freakin expensive!! I ended up getting a sit n'spin for 8$ which wasn't bad (and also not useful for about 2 years ...), but the strollers, etc were 100$+ used. (And looked used, too). I definitely prefer Once Upon a Child!
  • Not sure if this has been mentioned, but it might be good to remind people that siggies need to be Safe for Work viewing. Some of the new costume fails just reminded me of that.

Yep! I do this to my hubby all the time! :) Mostly his back and chest where he can't see or reach easily. If I dont, he scratches them off then it almost scars.

I have an addiction to this. I love it when he lets me pop his bumps! I'm disgusting, but I'm cool with it.

  • Ok, I have a galaxy 5 phone and am on the app. Is there any way to post a photo? I hit 'attach file', but then a 'choose file' button pops up and I push it but nothing happens. It's a tad frustrating!

(PS: I'm talking about a photo from my phone, not a gif, etc)
  • @kellbell1982 Congrats on your little girl!
  • Congrats on your little girl!! Had you pre-picked names, or doing that soon? My hubby and I haven't talked about them much, yet, since he wants to find out the baby's sex, first.
  • I found out I have an anterior placenta which they never mentioned before but it explains why I can't feel my baby too often and I can stop worrying that somethin is wrong. Anyone who isn't feeling their baby and are worried don't be because apparently it's quite common to have an AP. I'm finally feeling the glow of happiness and love everyone right now;)
