It's our anniversary

Well it's been 3 years since I started temping/charting and at that time we were so sure we'd be pregnant in no time, so we were just NTNP. We didn't start really going all out until May 12, but we had plenty of cycles with great time before then, so I should have known something was fishy . It's crazy now FF says we're on cycle 37. So in 3 years, I've been pregnant twice, both were ectopic. I've done about 99 clomid cycles, 2 IUIs, and 2 IVF cycles. Maybe 2 is our unlucky number? lol 


I was hoping to at least be pregnant by this month, but alas, I have an appt to discuss IVF #3 in couple hours. 


No point to this, just venting a bit. How is October treating you all so far?

    Good for you to keep on trying.  I'm really sorry you're going through this... and for so long!  Hope you're visit with the doctor goes well, and you come out with a new plan of action.  Let us know how it goes!  Hopefully, you can blow this popstand soon enough!

    I completely forgot it was already October 1 today.  I was at the doctor's office this morning and happened to see the date on a computer screen and thought "Where did the year go?!"  I left feeling somewhat hopeful... we're scheduled for IUI #2 on Saturday morning.

    - Clomid cycles February - May 2014, all BFN -
    - HSG July 2014, all clear! -
    - July '14: IUI #1, w/Femara & Ovidrel= BFN -
    - August '14: cycle cancelled -
    - October '14: IUI #2 w/Femara, Bravelle, & Ovidrel : BFP!-
    -November '14:  Discovered MMC @ 6 wk. ultrasound-
    -February '15: IUI #3 w/Femara, Bravelle, & Ovidrel: Success!-
    -Due November 2015-

    Oh bummer :( 

    Funny about the NTNP....I got a lecture from my family doctor's one time about how that's not adequate birth control and my RE also mentioned "you weren't just lucky all those years". 

    October hasn't been great so far. Have a meeting scheduled with my son's teacher tomorrow morning to discuss some undesirable behaviours and words he's been picking up from the playground. Thankfully he's not using them in school but just at home with us.

    Thank you all for the support, I don't know what I would have done without this amazing group of women. We get a lot of flack for being a bunch of bitter betties in here, but this group is full of some of the most supportive women you could possibly ask for. Sucks that we have to be here, but I'm glad to be in good company.

    ((HUGS)) @potatecastillo, this journey is a tough one.  I've only been TTC #2 for a little over two years (we started TTC #2 shortly after I was released by my OB).  But, it was over 3 years before we got #1.  So, I do understand the pain and frustration of all of this.  Here is to three's a charm (I'm hoping and praying it will be for us, too).

    ~SAIF/PAIF/Everyone Welcome~ 

    Me= 37 and DH = 41 

    Dx: DOR, Endo, APA+ (really high beta 2 glycoprotein antibody and high everything else tested), heterozygous MTHFR mutation, positive for lupus anticoagulant, high FSH, low AMH and both tubes blocked (per HSG on 3/8/11)

    IVF #1 - long lupron (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 4 retrieved, 3 fertilized; ET 2 blasts and 1 frozen = BFN

    IVF #2 - a version of antagonist with EPP (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 6 retrieved, 4 mature, 3 fertilized, 2 blasts and 1 frozen blast transferred on day 5 = BFN.

    IVF #3 April was postponed to May, May was canceled. June/July was canceled. Had a cyst aspiration and then began IVF #3 in August. ER on 8/22; ET on 8/24 with AH. +HPT on 9/5. Beta #1 (11dpo) = 3; Beta #2 (15dpo) = 29; Beta #3 (17dpo) = 60; Beta #4 (19 dpo) = 118. Heartbeat at 6 weeks 6 days =132.  Lil is here!

    TTC#2:  Trigger + TI = BFN; Clomid + Trigger + IUI = BFN.

    IVF #4:  BCP + MDLF + Lovenox = 7R, 1F = Transferred 1 6-cell embryo on day 3 = BFN

    IVF #5:  MDLF + Lovenox = 4R, 1F = Transferred 1 10-cell compacting embryo on day 3 = BFN

    IVF #6:  (New RE):  Long Antagonist November 2014 (transferred two 8 cell grade 1 embryos and froze one blast) = BFN

    FET#1:  BFN
