We haven't had one of these in a while! I'm starving and can't wait to start dinner... we're having venison cheeseburgers and oven fries. Then I'll probably have apples with caramel dip OR apple pie ala mode for dessert. nomnomnom. What are you eating?!imageimage

Sloppy Joes made with ground turkey on french rolls. Fries. Some sort of vegetable out of guilt.

Cooking as we speak! Baked chicken, baked sweet potatoes and sautéed zucchini and squash. But I'd rather be eating a burger and fries!

Since our fridge crapped out and I no longer trust that anything inside is safe to eat, we had pasta. Whole wheat pasta with jarred sauce and Parmesan cheese, and garlicky braised kale on the side. It was actually pretty good for a throw-together dinner.

I was looking for something quick because DH is out for the night. Fried up some shrimp in garlic and butter-made a quick white wine sauce with spinach linguine. It was fast and delicious.

Porkchops with cinnamon baked apples and probably something in the veggie family.

We are having my mom's take on shepard's pie.  It's chicken and veggies mixed with cream of mushroom soup with corn bread on the top. It's one of those things my family will actually eat, and I generally have all the ingredients at home already.
