Pain that won't go away

So this is my second pregnancy so I know you can feel everything a lot more & sooner. I already have the round ligament pain, but the other night I was having pretty bad sharp pains in my side/lower stomach that seemed worse when I got up & down so I figured stretching pain. But the last two days this pain in my side is pretty constant. All I can think is maybe baby is on an organ. Anyone have similar stuff going on? If I still have it tmr I'm going to call my doc.

  • If the pain is constant I would call your doctor. Dont sit too long on that pain, I hope you feel better soon.

  • Dude, go to a doctor. Why are you messing around with a forum over sharp constant pain?

  • It's on my right lower side. I def wasn't all day yesterday off & on & more on today. I just figured since it's the weekend, I would call tmr. And I guess it feels more like a bruise type pain most of the time. I don't know my DH keeps saying it's prob just stretching. I will def call right away tmr if I still have it.
  • I just saw my OB on Tues and was complaining of pain and pressure in my lower abdomen, nothing consistent or intense, but she said it is normal for 2nd+ pregnancies to be more painful since everything is already stretched out but she did say if it got worse to call immediately to check on everything. I would call right away if it is sharp pains like you're describing. Hope it's nothing but better safe than sorry.
  • Thanks ladies, @Ladylec‌ that's kind of what it feels like now pressure. But I will call tmr just to be sure.
  • You ladies were right, I ended up in ER at 5am. Looks like my appendix has to come out, say a prayer for me:( I guess there is a less than 1% chance if miscarriage & I got to see my little one on the screen & he/she is doing great so that makes me feel better.
  • I pray that everything goes good and you and baby come out just fine!
  • I also had a friend who had appendicitis and experienced that type of pain and then it moved up to her chest so she was shocked when they told her appendicitis- get it checked out just in case
