@starlightgator I get that. This process is such an emotional roller coaster. This is ivf 1 for us, and I'm trying really hard to be cautiously optimistic and not get my hopes too high. FX beta goes well for you!
Seeing my name mentioned makes me feel like such a part of this group; I'm amazed at all of you who keep up with so many people.
Yesterday was a long day of driving to attend a funeral with my relatives, but I was exhausted beyond any rational cause. I finally got home and when I poas there was a faint double pink line - 4dp5dt. Now we need this little bugger to stick. I'm beyond thrilled but a bit hesitant after last cycle's early loss. Mostly just very very happy though.
We have a few ladies that I have lost track of. This is really hard with such a large group.
@Sillysally24 Are you still stimming or have you had your ER?
SIB:
Thanks for checking...
I stimmed through Saturday, but started to surge (even with Ganarelix suppression) so I triggered last night and had an IUI this morning FI had a fantastic sample, so hopefully his little swimmers will do their thing on their own... I guess I'm in the 2WW??
ETA: I'm so out of it, I lost the beginning of my post (darn SIB nonsense) wishing lots of congrats on BFPs and great big hugs to all of you amazing ladies who need them. I haven't been on thebump much lately, but wow, this has been an amazing group. You are all wonderful, courageous, and beautiful on the inside as well as outside. Be proud of all that you've accomplished, regardless of the outcome. I, for one, am in awe of you all. Much love and wishes.

@ChristieH917, I am so sorry you are out((HUGS)). my Beta is tomorrow, and I have been testing at home, but it has been BFN. Just waiting for Beta tomorrow. and will see. Still keeping hope that HPT's are not picking up HCG yet.
Well, tested again this morning and it's a BFN. So I think this cycle is a bust. That's now 2 cycles in a row. Any suggestions on what to ask my RE? I've been doing single transfers. Is this just a probability game? Or is there potentially an issue? What are the potential complications that can prohibit implementation?

@ChristieH917 a special hug to you, just because I know how badly the "no fertilization" report hurts. It's not something you expect with this process really. I hope you get some answers at your WTF appointment.
I had my first beta on Friday and it came back at a measly 22 so of course I worried about it the entire weekend and just to top it off, I had these bad AF cramps and ran out of Utrogestan. Plus I had a negative HPT this morning. Repeated betas this morning and........
82!!!
It feels surreal and as if this is happening so someone else. I've never had a BFP in the 5 years and 9 months that we've been at this. So it really hasn't sunk in yet. Now for the wait for that first ultrasound.
I am 5dp5dt today and I am trying to not hyperventilate here. Tested on a FRER and a wondfo this morning and there is definitely a second line on both tests. My very first BFP ever! At first, I was nervous when a line popped up on the FRER because it expires 10/2014 and that's cutting it really close there. My beta is scheduled for Thursday, October 2nd. I'm in disbelief right now. Something finally worked!

Because I am the world's most impatient person, I called to check on my embies this morning (d3). I've got 2 A's, 2 B's and 1 C going. He sounded more optimistic today that we will have a few to biopsy and send out for PGD so that made me feel a TON better. Grow embies grow!
@fjamil1 and @daydreamernyc I am so sorry. fjamil1, reading your sig it appears they did a 2d transfer, is that right? Do you know why they choose that over a d3/d5? (and I apologize if I missed this in earlier posts) The science person in me wants to know why.
daydreamer, I'm not sure...I know there's like a 50% chance that they will implant, but I hate those number games... I know that the sperm can be an issue with fertilizing (I know not your problem). My friend had this issue, they can get to where they needed to go, but couldn't get the job done and they had to have the guys tested (PGD) prior to implanting to ensure they were 100% A-OK. She had 4-5 make it to d5, 1 can back as being ok. Is there something similar that could make your uterus more difficult to implant? (question for RE-not you!) Or could PGD also help you, in seeing that these embies are in fact healthy prior to implanting? I know there have been many on here that went the PGD route and do not regret the extra cost because they knew the guy being implanted didn't have any extra abnormalities that the embryologist can't see under the scope.
@Jen102279, we were scheduled for a 5dt, and they ask us which day we prefer since we only had one and I didn't want to wait and see if it grows to day 5, and did not want to risk loosing the only one embryo, so I asked them to do a day 3, but they said it doesn't matter if we transfer on day 2 or 3, so we went with sooner then later. The whole IVF cycle is a gamble, where we are betting on something every step of the way.
Yes. We had out FET this morning, and im hoping everything goes well. I am on bedrest now and we go back Next Wednesday (Oct 8) to see if we are prego!
Officially scheduled for my ER Wednesday! I trigger with Lupron and half a dose of Ovidrel tonight. My estrogen is still high so I'm still hoping it settles down before next Monday (which would be transfer day!)!
@fjamil1 I am so sorry sweets. I really hope that next time your cycle will go better. Are you going to meet with your RE to see if you all can do anything differently next cycle. I'm thinking of you!

Thank you everyone! When I got the beta results, i had a good cry on DH's shoulder. He was nice and said if it didn't work this time, we can try another cycle.
@Justone13, I have WTF on September October 20 to talk about the next step. I already emailed my RE asking how soon we can start with the next cycle, and if we change the protocol or do stronger medication. I also asked if we can switch from Bravelle to Gonal-F. He still has to reply back, hopefully her will get back to me fast. I also emailed the Director to see if I can get a discount of some sort for the next cycle, since i didn't get the 2 cycle package, or I can pay the difference between single and 2 cycle. Lets see how it goes. Fingers crossed they give me a discount.
(I can't believe I just typed it, that it's me this time). I had a negative test this morning (wondo) so I went in to the RE office for a blood test. I was scheduled for Wednesday but I figured if it was negative I wanted to know today so I can have a glass of wine and come up with a plan.
But....... Turns out it is positive. Beta of 66 at 7dp5dt which my RE said was great given I'm 2 days early. I just can't believe it. I almost don't. I just took another home test, this time a first response one just to make sure they got the right blood work!
I have a repeat beta on Wednesday. Hopefully it doubles and everything progresses. My husband is in disbelief.

@emilee871 big hugs. I'm so sorry. It's the most disappointing thing to go through this. Thinking of you!
@fjamil1 I'm glad you already have it scheduled. I have used Gonal f and menopur for different cycles and I don't think it has made a difference at all. You might need a higher dose or a different protocol. I hope that your re can come up with a good plan for you!! I'll keep my fx for you that the director can work something out for your cycle price.
