This comment makes you a million times worse than any other person here. You have some nerve attacking the ladies here in this manner and yet, somehow call yourself better. Utterly disgusting.
@shortnatie you're right. There are some rude people on here. I don't care if someone is asking the stupidest question that's been asked a million times in a row, no need to be rude. Period. That being said, there are some pretty great people on here too.

Blunt isn't the same as rude. Just as rude is not the same as bullying. Some people just can't seem to figure that out.

When you look at someones post history and it all makes sense.
Word of advice, you should check who you're WKing with. Shortienatie got all huffy when people pointed out that her boyfriend, who is not excited about her pregnancy, is totally cool with not taking the mother of his first child to court for visitation because he doesn't want to pay child support.

Stay away from "What To Expect When You're Expecting"
I would also add the Mayo Clinic's guide to the good list.
Why stay away from What to Expect When You're Expecting? I bought it because it seemed like a staple book for so many. Is the info wrong? What's the deal?
I disagree. The only reason I am reading this is because it is like a train wreck, I can't help but watch! I joined because everyone seemed positive and supportive. This is my 4th pregnancy though I only have twins, yet I still ask "stupid" questions. This only discourages women to reach out and I thought that's what we're here for!?

You disagree with what? And no, I'm not here to "reach out." I came for the entertainment and stuck around because this is such a fantastic group of women. Pregnancy doesn't make common sense to out the window but apparently many of the fly by snowflakes beg to differ.
Question has anyone else experienced Pelvic Girdle Pain in their 1st trimester? I didn't have it with my last two until the very end just wondering if anyone else has experienced this early on? TIA
Well after reading this I have one more question... Is there a site that pregnant women can go to when they just need to talk to people who they don't know anonymously?? The ladies of this site mostly seem to be very smart... And the reading I've done on here helps a great bit... But like some others have said... Sometimes people just need to ask the stupid questions we already know the answers to!!

But seriously thank you for your knowledge!
You are posting to a site with other women, some pregnant, anonymously. Try a different parenting/pregnancy site if you don't like it here. If you're worried about something you'll think others will find silly try to find a daily thread. Questions about symptoms belong in there. Maybe post some irrational fears on a daily chat/random thread. Go to your local board and check that out. The point is that these boards are flooded with repetitive questions and more serious questions often get pushed down the list. It's pretty simply to google "is it normal not to have symptoms" and it's common sense to know we can't tell you of you're pregnant. It's not difficult to browse the boards, read the stickies, search to see if your questions have already been asked or answered.
Now, if you've done all that and still feel the need to post and get responses made directly to you, even though your question has already been answered, you're obviously a special snowflake you're probably not going to like it here.
I was disagreeing to everyone liking this thread. I am not here for support. I have that. I was just looking for some women who have been through what I have been through. Having just had a m/c and getting BFP the next month, I am waiting to tell family and friends. It would be nice to talk with some people I don't know who are expecting.
You ladies have fun and baby dust to all who are expecting, but I'm out!
My ultrasound Tech told me new studies show that depending on which side of your uterus the baby implants itself on, they can give you a fairly accurate gender prediction in early pregnancy. Left side is female, right side is male! Didn't have these studies happening with my first pregnancy (which I had a boy), but they predict mine is another boy this time. Curious to find out just how accurate these studies are!!
Sure. Sex, gender whatever...Not an expert or anything, are you? just going by what she told me. Beside until I'm 18-20 weeks along and have a gender scan done, it's all a guess in my opinion. Not sure why people get all opinionated about fun facts...thought that's what people were sharing.

Wow. MJ's comment went straight over your head didn't it?
Lol okay ladies, maybe I was never told the difference between gender and sex, would LOVE to hear the massive difference that has you all commenting like I'm stupid.. I can see that posting on here was a big mistake. Just wanted to share what my UT shared with me, sorry I'm not up to date on how old or recent this study is. Wow. Lol.
Well here in Canada it's a Gender Scan. Thanks again for being so welcoming ladies. Even though I've learned something new, I think for my sanity I'll keep my thoughts and opinions to myself since I'm getting a real highschool vibe here! I know we are all hormonal, but it seems like you guys are out to prove something, and that's just not why I decided to join this site.
Well thank you SO much for educating me, and doing it ever so nicely...I'm so sorry for offending you by screwing up two words that I have never actually looked into, and are used a little differently at my doctors office.
And my point exactly....perhaps if you could write things differently, you would come off less rude... And when you feel the need to prove something to a stranger, kind of immature.
Lol wow. Definitely done on here.. These ladies already nicely cleared that up for me sweetheart, and I didn't mean to speak on behalf of Canada like that, perhaps just my Doc is the only idiot calling it that. Again, it's been cleared up, so get over it.
And thank you for that, I didn't know until today how much it could piss people off. Ya learn something new everyday I guess.
If only I was corrected nicely, instead of with sarcasm, and attitude...I would call that anything but calm and matter of fact.. my whole initial comment was immediately criticized because I apparently was misinformed about the study being new, and how I worded it. Also not only does my doctor call it a gender scan, so does my UT. I didn't just decide to call it that on my own!
So call it what you will, and be offended if you'd like. I find it hilarious that my comment caused so much drama, and most certainly learned a valuable lesson today about posting on a forum like this.
Lol everyone just has to get their jab in...

@DSteeny Sex, not gender. The studies are not new at all and don't seem to be that accurate. And not all babies implant on the left side or right side. I believe other studies have shown that it is based more on which side the egg was released (in relation to implantation).
I don't think her response could have been any more calm and matter of fact.
Hi! I am going through this right now. My doctor had me stop cold turkey. I started out extremely dizzy and with mood swings, but I think it's also a combo of hormones and coming off of these. I've read at can go out of your system anywhere from 3days to 3 weeks. I'm feeling much better now. My doctor said to think of it like alcohol, and just stop. Not sure if hunks is the right way to do it and if you have any bad thoughts etc then def ween, but I just did it!
I'm very new here but just wanted to say that this is one of the most entertaining forums I have found on the internet so far! I can't say I'm surprised, but am definitely amused, by the types of questions some people are posting and am left wondering how they have managed to make it this far through life without having any idea about the simplest of things? While I would personally just leave the answering of their questions to those with a shared level of naivety (stupidity is also an appropriate substitute), I don't think you can be annoyed that complete strangers do not have the required level of compassion or patience to deal with your complete lack of knowledge or understanding about life! I have long maintained that common sense should be renamed something else as it is by no means common and places everyone under the misguided apprehension that most people they are in contact with will poses said sense. Thanks for the LOLs!
