I just found out tgat I miscarried my first pregnancy. The doctor said we can start trying again after my levels are 0. I am just wondering about my cycle, does it chanfe based on the miscarriage or does it remain in the same time frame as before (pretty much how do I know when I will ovulate or expect my next period?) I olanned on asking my OB this yesterday but was just so devestated.

First came love 3-10-00, then came marriage 3-12-10, now we are expecting our first Baby MAY 2015 !!!

With my natural miscarriage, the bleeding lasted for about two weeks and was basically like the first day of my period as my actual period showed up about 4wks later.
I've also had 2 d&c's. My period didn't return until about 50days (6-8wks) after.
Thankfully, my cycles never really changed, but it is possible that your cycle may shorten or become longer. It's a time will tell thing.

My baby was measuring 6w when they discovered the loss. I opted to take the Cytotec and passed the baby within a few hours. That was Feb 2. I bled like a light period for about a week and a half. I had a follow-up U/S to make sure there was no remaining tissue. Thankfully there was not. I was cleared to TTC AFTER my next period. That next period came on March 12 and fell back in line with what my normal cycles were prior to the loss. 31-34 day cycles and they remained consistent until I conceived a few weeks ago. I borrowed a fertility monitor from a friend & also temped for a few months, thanks to the ladies over in TTCAL.
I wish you the best of luck with everything. Please keep your spirits up. I know it's easier said than done.
