Totally common. I'm on an elimination diet and so as not to skew the results we delayed this vax at our doctor's suggestion because the diahrea is such a common side effect.
I would think if would be fairly common, since it's a live vaccine. Rather than an altered vaccine, which builds immunity without giving an active form of the virus, the live vaccine gives you the active virus, allowing the body to fight a mild virus to build immunity.
At least that's my understanding. I am positive it's a live vaccine, as we do not do live vaccines due to an immune issue.
Just had his vaccines yesterday. Although DS doesn't poop much either so we'll see what happens. Although he stored up 4 days of poop to have an explosion yesterday at the doctors office! X_X
