@ChristieH917: Christie, I have EVERYTHING crossed for you today!
Married 07/2006, TTC since 2010 08/2011: Clomid 50mg, IUI --> BFN , 10/2011: Clomid 100mg, IUI --> BFN 04/13: Clomid, IUI BFP --> MC at 6w1d 05/13: Femara 2.5mg, IUI --> BFN , 08/13: Femara 2.5mg --> BFN 03/14: Femara 5mg, IUI --> 1 follicle @ 27d --> BFP! @bluejoan I know exactly what u mean. I am 6dp3dt so we had our ER on the same day it seems. Yesterday I woke up to the bloating practically gone. While I'm excited to feel normal again, I of course worried WHY it went down. Hopefully our bodies just needed a week to recover from ER and it has no correlation with anything else.
Got the fert report. All 5 ret were mature and all 5 fertilized. So now we wait for these guys to keep growing.
@ChristieH917 I am sending you so much happy thoughts! Thinking of you!
@Giants721 grow embies grow!!
I'm so glad I'm with you two in this waiting game, it's comforting knowing you aren't alone.
That's great Jen! It is nice knowing we aren't alone!
So sorry @ChristieH917 hope you get some answers at your appt

@Buttmonkey34 I can't believe how similar our cycles are! I POAS and saw shadows for the past two days. Your beta is Tuesday and mine is Wednesday. GL for more good news!
@MSU_Girl1202 I know what you mean about peeing on something. I feel like a feral cat trying to mark territory. DH thinks I'm nuts. GL at your beta on Wednesday! I'll be doing the exact same thing Wed.
@AuroraP725 Stim, stim, stim! Chin up! You got this.
@BlueJoan FX for your beta on Thursday. Mine is Wednesday and I am dying!!
@daydreamernyc (HUGS) I'm sorry. Maybe it's too early. When's your beta?
@sweetpotato123 OMG! Congratulations for your amazing beta! Could there be more than one in there?!
@bazinga913 Congrats on a great fert report! That's awesome.
@jeezidunno (HUGS) I'm sorry that your cycle was cancelled, but that's great news for 7 fertilized. My RE's office says that only 70% of women have any to freeze.
@Giants721 A fellow teacher- ditto about the parents! Great news for 17 eggs retrieved. FX they will grow, grow, grow!
@turquoisequeen Holy moly! Congratulations on your beautiful beta! Please, do stick around. My beta is on Wednesday….
@cwoodward777 (HUGS) I am so sad for your BFN. It feels like a slap in the face, doesn't it? This is such a painful process and I feel your pain. Holding it together when you work at a school is so difficult. I know I'm posting a few days late, so I hope that the weekend has helped you heal a little.
@Bandy514 Hope your transfer went well. Wishing you a bearable 2WW.
@jen102279 (HUGS) Hang in there! 5 mature is better than eggs that aren't mature.
@fjamil1 FX for a great beta and that your lines continue to get darker!
@Mrs.Ess Congrats on those 8 beautiful eggs and a strong transfer!
@ChristieH917 (HUGS) I am so sad to hear this news and wish I could make it all better for you. Sending heartfelt T&P's to you. Please keep us posted after your WTF appointment. Give 'em hell and ask LOTS of questions!!!
@IFinTN OMG!!!! AWESOME!!! How did I miss your earlier posts?! Congrats on an excellent third beta! Can't wait to hear about your ultrasound. (BTW, Thank you so much for sending me the embryo development chart. It has been a lifesaver….and a stick saver.)
@BostonGayGal I know it's hard to check hope away. I have been in the same boat trying to be negative even though inside I had all this hope. GL on your beta!
@emilee871 I'm sorry that the 2WW has been so hard. Those darn sticks are so tempting! (HUGS)
@Justone13 (HUGS) I started crying at synagogue for no reason last Wednesday night. It's so awkward and confusing. Then, the tears wouldn't stop the rest of the night.
@Giants721 Congrats on a great fert report! FX for Day 5!
AFM, today is 7dp5dt. I am in disbelief and almost to shocked and worried to report this but I got a BFP on a Clear Blue this morning. Just like @Buttmonkey34, I started POAS a lot and kept getting a faint second line of the FRER's. Then, I ran out of them and went to the ClearBlue digital… and it actually said that magical word this morning! I didn't want to wake DH because it was like 8am on a Sunday, so here I am catching up with you ladies and left the stick on his nightstand and as he dozes.
I am still really worried that it will change back to negative before beta on Wednesday…or that it will be a CP (but I'm never had one). Just a worrywart I guess. It's been a very long 5 year journey and over 2 years since the MC at 11 weeks.
I think I'm heading out to get some FRER's and continue to POAS until this becomes real...
QOTD- I am a teacher. This is my 17th year in television production and broadcast journalism. I mostly taught high school before, but now I enjoy directing the 5th graders morning show, 6th graders weekly show, 7th/8th graders bimonthly show, 9th-12th graders weekly show and niche programming online. It's a crazy schedule but I love it.
AFM, my beta is on Wednesday. I tested again yesterday and it was still negative so I'm still hoping but trying to be realistic. It's so hard to have a beta come in midweek with work and all.

@starlightgator congrats!! And you are a much, much better person than I, because I would have been jumping on DH to wake him, regardless of the time of morning.
@starlightgator I have to agree with @bazinga913. I would have been screaming at him from the bathroom. I don't care what time it is. This would be the one time I wouldn't let him sleep in. Is he up yet? How did he respond?
I am 37 and DH is 40
10/2012 Start TTC
09/2013 Finally got to see the RE12/2013 HSG-both tubes clear
01/2014 Large Cyst Removed along with right ovary and tube
04/2014 2nd HSG-Remaining tube damaged/blocked
05/2014 Testing cycle and BCP to prep for IVF
06/2014 IVF cycle #1 is scheduled cancelled due to low estrogen
07/2014 Started Estrace to help with my estrogen issues
Congrats @starlightgator!
My estrogen is up to 3250 and my follicles are ready for retrieval. They're ordering Lupron for me though because they fear OHSS and I may have to take it tomorrow either with ovidrel or on its own. I'm trying to take it easy now but I had myself a good cry about potentially not doing a fresh round (we paid for a fresh and frozen) and I'm just not in the best of moods right now.
@bazinga913 and @ChristieH917 I just got home from picking up more FRER's and Crinone and thought I would get a great big hug and a kiss from DH. But, no. He was upset that I POAS because he said he doesn't trust them. He wants to wait for beta to be sure and even then is so hesitant and worried about MC. I don't blame him. We have been through a lot of ups and downs and he is just trying to protect us from possible future pain.
So, the celebration will have to stay here with you, my IF friends. (It's so hard not to call my mom, aunt, and friends.) Thank goodness for all of you.
@starlightgator I completely understand sharing here instead of with friend and family. Everyone here knows what we are all going through. Family and friends try, but they don't really understand. I celebrate the little steps and family only focuses on the what went wrong.

@erbear84 hang in there. You still have a shot at a fresh transfer. My e2 was 3500 at trigger. I also triggered with Lupron and they put me in dostinex to help further prevent OHSS. I've been doing pretty well so far and they are allowing me to do a fresh transfer tomorrow (so long as I have some embies that make it that far; my clinic doesn't do any updates between initial fert report and day 5). I know there's still a chance I could get late onset OHSS but at least that would likely be because i do indeed become pregnant. I was basically on the borderline of their limit for canceling ET.
I'll be thinking of you!
