    Lol the cursing doesn't bother me at all, I have a pretty foul mouth too, but not generally in internet forums when I'm not sure if I'll offend. So I'll try to behave. :)

    Yup! I'm a Pastor so I better count myself a Christian;). Also in Chicago, and on the cursing train, though I do my best to keep God's name out of it. Would love a social group/Bible study/whatever the will of the people turns out to be.

    Re. Facebook group - no way, too early for me, maybe once our babies are born I'd think about it

    Re. Swearing - I do not swear but none of it here bothers me.

    Me! The excessive swearing and negativity gets to me- I certainly do slip sometimes but come on there's a LOT of it.
    I would love to have a Christian mama thread!  Great idea. I'm in upstate NY. My last board J14 was awesome and I love our fb group! I think having a positive message and check in would be awesome! 



    Me too, that's why I love the idea of this! The negativity needs to stop!

    @hmcconn I'm studying church ministries right now! Don't want to give my location away but it's at an Assemblies of God university. :)

    Hi! I'm 8 weeks today. So excited! However, these past few days I have spotted very lightly and had brown spots. I have support from my family and husband, but it is a little terrifying. I am calmer now, but I do ask for prayer.

    Otherwise, I'm so excited and feel very blessed

    Facebook group - I would be very interested as I tend to go on there more than the bump. Although I agree that it's a bit too early. I probably wouldn't want to go on the group until we've announced on Facebook (maybe mid-November).

    Book I'm reading: Expecting - Praying for Your Child's Development - Body & Soul by Marla Taviano. I highly recommend it. It goes week by week, gives you prayers for your baby and some suggestions for thoughts/devotionals. DH and I are doing it every week together.

    Also on Facebook you can create a closed group so that no one on your friends list will see anything you post or that you are even apart of a group. I am apart of a PCOS ttc group that is created that way and I have only told them that I am pregnant. No one outside of close friends even new that my husband and I were taking clomid to conceive.
