I have to get my workout in super early or I won't get it done. I did my 2.5mi jog this morning before the baby got up. I love knowing it's done when I come home tired from work- it's one less thing to do.

I've been training for my next half marathon... Then my nausea went from ugh to ALL THE TIME and movement makes it worse. ( I miss working out
This. I was supposed to run a half this past weekend and had to drop out. Went for a run the next day because I felt so guilty and only made it 2 miles! I can't wait to start feeling better so I can get back into it.. Running keeps me sane! Jealous of you ladies still out there doing it - keep it up!
I adore my pure barre classes and hope to stick with it throughout my entire pregnancy. I shoot for every other day and if I feel good I'll squeeze in an extra class and do 5 a week.
Ran five miles on Tuesday after work and actually felt great, which was a real surprise because I've been pretty tired in the evenings. Of course, I completely crashed after arriving home but it still felt good to know I still have some minor forms of control over my body...
Hey @DawnLilly! You're up early too- great job lady!
Just finished a Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred routine this morning. I love that they are 25 minutes or less. I can suffer through that!
Anyone have a favorite prenatal yoga DVD? I feel like someone mentioned one that showed different workout modifications for various levels of pregnancy but I can't remember what thread it was on. I need to do yoga this time around!

Yesterday was 2 mile run/walk - I cannot seem to get the energy for running like normal. Then leg day with squats, leg press, curl & extensions. Today I still have to figure it out but likely at least 1 mile of cardio of some kind and probably chest and back weights.
I'm so tired my workout has been on the back burner. I had to stop going to the trainer because of some spotting. Nurse told me probably better to wait til second trimester. I miss my workouts. It would require me to get up at five which is hard when I can't drink my pre-workout
@morenajuliet I recently followed a youtube video for yoga: "30 minute intermediate & advanced prenatal yoga" by Tamara Buschel. It's quick, but a great stretch & a few parts are a bit challenging.
@teachnva I hear ya about not getting the pre-workout drink! I've gone from a 5-day a week intense workout, to working out maybe 2 days a week!! I feel like a slug at the gym.
I do yoga 2-3x a week though the last two classes were tough to get through and seemed to suck all of my energy so I skipped my most recent class to recharge. I'm 8 weeks!
Oh shoot! I promised to get back to that post about yoga with the one I have. Which is, Shiva Rea's Prenatal Yoga. It is very good for beginners. I bought it at Wal-Mart but that was 3 years ago now. I'm going to get myself Piyo for Christmas though. I'm hoping to maintain my current routine at least that long.
Feel better knowing others are having trouble with jogging too. Before BFP I would jog 2-3 x week, cycle 3-4x week and swim 3x a week. Now I'm lucky to get two walk/jogs in and that's it. I have no energy and when I try to run I'm so out of breath?!? I also know that with twins I'm likely gonna have to stop the jogging sooner than if just one. So I think I need to start back with a spin class and get back in the pool. But I need energy! I no longer take any of the Gu or power gels. Just not sure if they are safe?
My progestrone levels are so low making my uterus weak, I am so scared to continue doing anything but go for walks until I'm told otherwise. It's killing me though because I'm used to running and doing Jillian Michaels shred videos almost daily. For now, our dog is appreciating the walks.
Body weight squats, in and out jumping squats, curtsy lunges, barbell squats, stepping back lunges, dumbbell bicep curls, overhead lateral tricep workout with free weights.
I've been so tired and sick it's been hard to workout. I'm trying to do at least one yoga class per week for now. Just bought a heart rate monitor so hopefully once I feel better I'll add in some spin and T25 (with modifiers). I work in the city so do walk about 10 min each way during my commute, which makes me feel a little better!
@Morenajuliet pure barre is a workout that utilizes the ballet barre to perform small, isometric movements, which burn fat, sculpt muscles and create long, lean physiques. It's low impact but extremely challenging. I have been a bootcamp girl for years and switched over to barre about a year ago. Biggest downside is it can be fairly expensive. They have great DVDs tho if you're interested in trying it in the comfort of your own home.
How are you all working out through the morning/all day sickness? My zumba class starts up again next week and I have no idea how I'm going to do it. Standing makes me nauseous.
@lala5507I haven't had any ms yet but last time I found that SOMETIMES while working out my MS subsided. I jogged a lot and for some reason when I was jogging I didn't deal with MS. IF I did still feel nauseous after a few minutes I would cal it quits for the day. I was part of a mommy jogging group where other moms had similar findings.

My nausea has been awful; positional changes and any quick movements have been triggers for it. So running, abs workouts, etc. have been mostly out of the question. Hopefully this will get better...I can see the loss of muscle definition already...
Work out? What's that? Just kidding, now that I finally have my energy back I'm looking forward to getting back into it. I've walked 3 miles so far this week. I used to be an avid runner but my heart rate gets so high now (180+) that it scares me and I settle for fast walks.
I took a line dancing class at my gym this morning. It wasn't super intense but it got me up and moving for an hour instead of sitting at home. It was pretty fun
