Ok ladies with all the recent birth announcements I just wanted to say I can't believe we are almost to October. Back in Jan when most of us were just finding out we were pregnant and joining this group this day seemed so very far away, I know I'm not the most active poster but I did want to say this group has been great support throughout this process. As a FTM I feel like I have learned so much on this board. Thanks ladies! Not too much longer and were gonna be mommas! Hang in there, there is a light at the end of the tunnel and it's going to be amazing!
I want to call all casseroles a "hotdish" just so people will look at me funny...
Also, I finally posted about the baby on my blog and linked it to my Facebook page because apparently my sister was dying for me to make announcement to the public lol and now I am totally exhausted and beginning to regret that I didn't just nap because I am pretty sure LO will be ready to eat in the next 20 minutes.
Unless something super interesting happens while I'm lurking the board during feedings, I will "see" you all tomorrow for the Thursday Randoms. And to hear from @lrobi13 !!!
@sngsoprano1 I too am nesting by being productive at work. Well in terms of preparing for being out. I have made lesson plans, copies, and classroom procedure notes for everything I could think of. If only the work nesting bug would catch on at home then maybe I would get my house clean
We were told at buybuy baby it is made by the same company that makes the naturepedic mattresses. Haven't used it yet but wanted to get a greengaurd certified mattress.
This is a tricky question. Some people would just say yes. Others would give you major side eye for thinking so. I say pretty much. The only dish I call hotdish is tator tot hotdish. All other meals in a casserole dish I call casserole. Hotdish is mostly a Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota term used to describe some casseroles, usually those made with cream of something soup. It is a touchy topic, people have strong opinions about this.
Kind of like Duck Duck Goose (or, Duck Duck Grey Duck in Minnesota)?
