One thing you might want to keep in mind is that one company's cherry furniture might not be anything close to the cherry stain of another company. You might find something you like that's labeled as espresso or chestnut. (Our nursery furniture is called mocacchino, but it reminds me of an espresso with red tones.) It's really hard to get a true idea of what it looks like just by looking at a computer screen. We went to USA Baby to get our furniture so I could see it in person, but you could try going on their website and checking out their different styles/colors of cribs.
See, I think the price is high too. I'm having a hard time deciding on furniture. We have a cherry ethan allen bedroom set in there we had hoped to keep in the nursery only because I don't want to store it in the basement (but we will if we have to). Would a white crib and dresser look weird with the ethan allen cherry queen bed and table?

I don't see anything wrong with mixing and matching. I think white and black furniture go well with all wood tones. You can tie it all together with the colors you choose for bedding/curtains/rug/wall decor.
