Cervix kicks?

Is anyone else feeling like baby is kicking you right in the vagina?! I'm reading online that it could be him head butting a nerve as he moves around (he was head down for a/s) but I was wondering if you ladies have experienced this. Any insight as to what it is? It doesn't happen all the time, but occasionally he'll wiggle himself into the right spot for it. He's pretty active right now and it keeps happening.

    Something similar to this was described as 'lightning crotch' earlier on in the forums. It sounds more painful than what you're describing, but the causes are nigh the same :3

    I've felt it, and when I was pregnant with DD, I researched it, and found out that sometimes it's the baby having hiccups!

    Yep, I've had it both times. Feels like a big twitch in that area. Can be slightly painful too.

    Yup! My baby is currently breech, and she routinely kicks me in the cervix and bounces on my bladder. Sometimes it feels like a foot is going to come out of me.

    Yes- I frequently get kicked in the butt and in the cervix! It's annoying at times but never really painful.

    Yep. Definitely get this. If I can, I lay down on my side or invert myself until she moves. It hasn't hurt yet, but I've been paranoid her little leg is going to pop out (unfounded paranoia) and it is QUITE uncomfortable.

    I get these any time I sit at my desk at work (daily) and it's usually the same time of day.  She's been head down for all the u/s i've had so I just assumed it was her punching.  It happens too frequently to be a head-butt.  I started to get the feeling yesterday that it might be hiccups.  If it is, she's a VERY hiccupy baby!

    I was just telling my best friend the other day that it felt like her foot was going to come flying out of me one of these times! Lol so glad I'm not the only one

    Yes! Baby girl thumps me down there and in the butt every so often, especially last night! It happens by itself, no kicks to the left or right (she loves hanging out sideways so far) so it makes sense it could be hiccups making her head bump down there! Very weird feeling for sure, but not painful.

    DS1 felt like he was tap dancing on my cervix. With DS2 he's got quite the kick, there have been a few times that it really hurt when he kick my cervix. He seems to have shift now but this weekend it was pretty bad.
