bleeding/spotting at 38 weeks?

I woke up this morning and noticed when I wipe pinkish/red in the toilet paper. More like spotting, not very much. I wiped again and there was still some there.

I am 90% sure I already lost my mucus plug on Wednesday and that was dark blood. I did have sex yesterday but around 3pm and didn't bleed from that.

What do you think it could be? From the sex? I have had very mild cramping this morning but nothing timeable.

It could be from the sex, give your ob a call and see what they have to say.

I agree, could be from sex. I would call your ob, my dr. told me to call if I was every bleeding.

i agree that it could be from sex, but i would definitely call to be on the safe side.

It's probably from sex, but I too would call your OB. They may want to check you out at L&D.

Since you are so far along it could be the start of labor. My Dr told me that you could spot from dilating. I've also spotted after internals, but later on in the day...not right away. If it gets worse or lasts more than 24 hours I would call.
