These babies are so cute! I had a dating ultrasound and I don't get another one until the 20 week scan. :-( I'll have to post blimp pics until then. Isn't my bloat almost as adorable as the little squishes?

Here's my squish! I had a moment of shear panic at the u/s because it wasn't moving at the beginning. For every u/s with DS he bounced all over the place. I asked the ultrasound tech to slow down and please just focus on the baby so I could see the heartbeat. He did and it was a strong heartbeat at 161. Phew! The tech focused on the profile so we could take pics but my mom was so distracted that she never got a true profile. I'm so in love with our little soon to be person!!!
Edit to add: that I'm a freaking idiot who posted my pic twice... I'm obviously ridiculously excited to be sharing this with you ladies. How do you delete a post if you forget your brain somewhere?

Just curious, do you know what a blump actually is?!?!? I thought it was a cute nickname as well for bump/bloat until a friend looked at me like I was crazy and disgusting when I called my belly a blump. I had to look it up on urban dictionary.

No wonder my 17 year old brother was shaking the shit out of his head when I said something about my blump at dinner last week. I thought only a blumpkin was gross....I didn't know the kids were calling it a blump, too.

Omg --- I had to look it up too just now... I had no idea that's what it meant! So.GROSS! Now I need a new nickname for my bloat bump because now "blump" is forever tainted in my mind.

I know, I just can't make myself call it that anymore!!!

12 week appointment today!!! I lost a pound since 8 weeks (107.4) and my blood pressure seemed low but they said no worries (100/50). I got to watch little MAC moving around!!!
