STM: how long does this PP hair falling out last?!

I can't take it anymore - I have dark, thick long hair and it's EVERYWHERE. The other day at home DH was eating a sandwich and suddenly he got this weird look on his face, stopped chewing, and pulled a hair out of his mouth. It's out of control. He's about to move out I think.

Same here. Bathroom floor gets filled with hair after I blow dry it. Hubby doesn't know how I'm not bald yet.

I have the same hair you described. I run my hands through my hair and have a handful every time. Seriously don't know how I'm not bald. It is everywhere

I'm almost 5 months pp and it seems like the hair loss is getting even worse... And what's left seems so greasy and stringy. Ugh.

I didn't know that PP hair loss was a thing- I used a different kind of hair dye and I thought thats what did it! So glad to hear that it is a thing and I'm not alone! We have hardwood floors and the other day I swept all the floors and all that was there was my hair and the dogs! My husband asked if I was losing my winter coat and having a competition with the dog to see who could lose more hair!

With DS it really kicked in around 3 months and started to wrap up around 6-7 months.

This time it started a smidge earlier but is more or less done now (5 months). Moving on to the "baby hairs" over here...

It's freaking gross - I just pull hair out. The floor is covered - I'm constantly pulling loose strands off my clothes - I'm trying L'Oreal for Falling Hair and it seems to be slowing it a bit like I'm not pulling out huge clumps anymore but it's still coming out. This just might be my wishful thinking lol

Omg me too! I can see some hair is growing back but it's going to take a long time for my hair to straighten out. I told DH to buy me a wig.
