Our street never gets plowed, it so frustrating! I like the snow so long as I don't have to go anywhere or shovel. I don't like the snow once it gets all dirty and slushy though. Yuck!

And what's the weather like where you are today?   Snow- like to see it, hate to drive in it.   Today it's freaking cold because I live in the midwest where it's always cold.  lol  It's 25 degrees today which is a heat wave compared to the 7 degrees we've had lately.  The sun is shining so I'll take it.

I noticed this thread some time ago but never really went inside because I know it didn't pertain to me (until now). 

Anyway, really hilarious/stupid question -- what does HDBD stand for?

I am not a fan of snow even though I've always lived in cold climates. 

Random thought -- I am at home sick today and watching stupid tv, including private practice. There is a character in labor right now and it is SO unrealistic. She is 7 cm but having normal conversations and is just kind of "ugh" when a contraction appears, which is like every 4 min instead of every 30 seconds. haha. Gotta love how when you've done it before you really analyze these things.

I grew up in Colorado, and now I live in Southern CA where today the high is 70. I don't think I could go back to that bitter cold again. We've had a "cold snap" here the last week or two, and I have been so miserable! (That means a high of 55 or less during the day, lol). See? Wuss now.

QOTW: Let's talk about snow. Love it or hate it? And what's the weather like where you are today? Eh, it's not a part of my life anymore. I don't really miss it, so I guess I'm a hater. If I could rent a cozy cabin one night a year where there's snow falling outside that I can look at, then I'd be happy. I don't need more snow than that in my life, especially if I have to drive in it or shovel it or scrape it off my car. No thanks. Today is a beautiful fall like day in the Bay area. It's sunny and 50 degrees, with very little wind. It's been colder lately, so I can't complain! We spent some time outside this morning, and we'll probably head out again after nap time.

I just realized I'm wearing the same shirt as last week. Oops. I guess it's not surprising since I only have about 3 that I wear these days.

It snowed last night and I woke up to my phone ringing at 530 to tell me we had a 2 hour delay - whoohoo!!! Short days are awesome. I like the snow....LOVE it when it's falling and how pretty it looks; dislike how it turns so black, dirty and when I have to shovel it.

How many weeks are you?  35!!  Due date moved to the 21st.  It's getting closer!  OB says I'm measuring 3 weeks ahead though...so maybe he'll come sooner than that.  I think I'm actually due closer to Valentine's day based on what I know about when we conceived...

And what's the weather like where you are today?  Kind of hate it.  I'm okay with snow if I can stay inside until it melts and goes away.  It's pretty to look at, but I want nothing to do with driving in it or having to go outside in it.  I do like to go snow skiing, but that's a planned snow experience.  I don't like just waking up to find I have to brave icy roads and terrifying bridges to get to work.   The weather is cold here.  Tens and Teens at night, 40's if we are lucky in the daytime.  My first graders are going nuts with all indoor recess!

Team Green

I love snow! And so does LO! He was so excited this morning to look out the window and see a new layer of white. He was begging to put on snowpants & snowboots from the moment he finished breakfast.  I let him play in the snow for 15-20 minutes before I took him to daycare. As a result, I got a later start than I'd hoped, but I really want him to love being outside and so it was worth it for me.
