I just blame first trimester. Last time was a breeze. The pregnancy gods (presumably Beej) have changed my karma this time.
This was my situation too. I was much sicker during first tri this time around than when I was pg with DS. Also..the asspiss sucks. BTDT shit...literally.
I did the first day of Couch to 5k! @bunkinmama the app is really handy, if you have a smart phone you should try it out.
It's okay to drink right after working out right? if it's not it's too late.
Tell me more about this app please?
It's couch to 5k (C25k) You go for "runs" 3 times a week for I believe 9 weeks and it trains you to be able to run a 5k by the end. It starts out really slow. So today I did a 5min "brisk walk" warm up then 60sec of jogging, 90 secs of walking alternating for 20 mins, then a 5 min cool walk. The app prompts you when to start running and walking, and keeps track of what day you're on.
The only thing it doesn't do that I wish it did was tell you what distance you went (unless I'm not finding it on the app) so I'm going to use Map my run while I'm doing it also.
Hi. I have so much to do tonight, but I am so tired and I am feeling so nervous/excited about this weekend I don't know what to do with myself. I need a drink but I'm afraid it'll knock me out.
I am kind of annoyed that Target already has winter shit out already, so I couldn't find a light coat for K (or rainboots). I will wind up buying something online I guess, but I was hoping to have something for tomorrow since I felt like a shitty parent dropping my kid off at daycare totally unprepared for the weather.
This is probably a total FWP. Whatever. Amazon here I come.
We got Z a light coat at costco, if that's an option for you.
I have a lunch date with a friend tomorrow, a friend who frequently offers to let me sneak into Costco with her. How gauche would it be to ask her to go tomorrow?
I'd do it. Hell, I'd take you, if only I were closer.
Anyone can go into Costco. You just can't buy anything without a membership.
Here they won't let you in unless you have or are buying the membership. I guess cause people would go in and just ask someone in line to let them use their card.
Our Costco checks membership at the door as you're walking in. Bouncers up in there.
I've never been to a costco that doesn't do this, but I've also been like, "My mom's already inside" and they don't give two shits. I mean, my mom was inside, but they weren't asking for my fingerprints or anything.
My costco checks at the door too. I don't think they really care though, they let people in to eat hotdogs all the time.
I don't think they care about the membership matching the card. I asked the guy once because my mom was buying my stuff (cause I'm a grown up...) if it mattered and he just shrugged.
My inlaws have memberships at both SAMs & Costco, & we just piggy back off their cards. I don't go often bc I get sucked in & end up spending way more than I should!
Still working on that bottle of red. Time to catch up on modern family!
