@kristieandjason2010‌ I'm not trying to take sides because I have cats but it could be that your cat is afraid of the dog. Cats flick their tails when they're agitated, and maybe the dog coming near his tail made him flick it more. Just another perspective, I'm sure it's a combination but cats always get a bad rap! lol!

Don't get me wrong, I love my cats and I've been "protecting" them. My orange cat especially because he wants no part of the puppy. The black cat, however, will actually charge after the puppy when he feels in the mood and then gets irritated if he isn't. Cat will also start off in the middle of the bed where it's safe and then move to the edge in order to swat the puppy. My concern was that puppy would lose an eye so I cut kitty's claws down.

From now on pets will be called by name:

Black cat: Nikko
Orange cat: Dexter
Puppy: Sebastian

We are waiting to get a horse next. Not really, but it feels like we have a farm.

1. This morning we dropped the dog off to be groomed. DD (13 months) cried when we handed him over & left him there.

2. DD also helped with laundry today. And by "helped" I mean she stole a pair of my underwear, walked around with it, and put it on her head. Oy.

1. Today was my first appointment and I feel like I can finally breathe after seeing the baby on the ultrasound and knowing it has a heartbeat and is growing.

2. Husband is calling baby peanut and is the cutest thing ever. He asked me today if I fed the peanut before I went back to work. (I'm a teacher so I took a half day for my appointment.) He also asked about names today so I know he is excited.

1. My son needs to stop biting at daycare. It is stressing me out so much. He did it twice last week and has already done it twice this week and it's only Tuesday. He doesn't bite at home so I just don't know what to do. I feel horrible about it.

2. All of my family knows about my pregnancy now and it feels good not having to hide anything.

Wow! That does sound like Nikko is being the instigator! I hope they can someday all get along! Good luck with your "farm" of furry friends!

1. I'm still feeling nervous after one nurse said I would miscarry(family practice, and just going off hcg levels at 9 weeks) and having a midwife and prenatal nurse tell me the baby is healthy right on track and nothing to worry about. I think I ask my husband everyday about it and he has heard from both and isn't worried. Ugh I hate being a worry wort.

2. I only crave salty things. Anything fruit or veggie related makes me nauseous. So now I'm thinking I'm just going to suck it up.

1. I have my first appointment tomorrow including an ultrasound! Finally!

2. The program I recently graduated from was named the best in the nation by the national kitchen and bath association, which is a big deal in the interior design world! Pretty cool!

I will settle on supermarket cannoli now.

I also will never turn down cannoli. Reading this, I laughed, then realized you were wearing an Eagles jersey. DH and I sat and stared at the tiny picture trying to figure out who it was (DH figured out Dawkins). DH is from near Philly and is an Eagles fan too!

Also, this explains why you are such a fan of cannolis, too!

1. I *wanted* to exercise the other night. Think it's safe to say I'm coming out of MS and it feels soooo good!

2. DH and I both working from home (small apt with two big pups) in our new state (CO) and he didn't annoy me a half a dozen times today...I could jump for joy!

Have to add a bonus: appt tomorrow and 12 weeks today sooo hoping to hear HB...sending lots of good vibes to everyone for their appts☺️
