Re: Weekly High-Risk Checkin -- Week of Sept 22nd
1. How far along are you now? 26+4
2. Any updates - doctors appointments, ultrasounds, labwork, etc? nada!
3. How are your symptoms? I think my pubic bone is going to shatter! Chasing my toddler around is zero fun!
4. GTKY: What languages do you speak fluently? 1, I guess, although, sometimes I don't think I have mastered English
1. How far along are you now?
28+1
2. Any updates - doctors appointments, ultrasounds, labwork, etc?
baby girl has the follow up fetal heart echo this week. They weren't able to visualize one little thing at the initial echo. I'm not terribly nervous because they said they weren't concerned but it makes me a little apprehensive that it's not there. Eeep. I also have my first growth u/s this week. I sure hope they don't say that baby girl is ginormous. I know it doesn't mean much but I don't want to have to fight another thing.
3. How are your symptoms?
holding pretty steady. Doctors continue to be very pleased with my control.
4. GTKY: What languages do you speak fluently?
Well, I used to speak English, Italian and French fairly fluently with conversational Spanish. Now I would only say I speak English fluently. Spanish, Italian and French have all become pretty rough through disuse.
1. How far along are you now? 28wks tomorrow
2. Any updates - doctors appointments, ultrasounds, labwork, etc? Nothing this week.
3. How are your symptoms? Big, tired, sore.
4. GTKY: What languages do you speak fluently? Used to be close to fluent in French, but it lapsed once I was no longer taking classes. Now it's just English.
@abenson3 - I hear you on the pubic bone pain. I think it's bruised from the baby kicking because some days it's way worse than others.
Good Morning Ladies!!
1. How far along are you now? 29 weeks!
2. Any updates - doctors appointments, ultrasounds, labwork, etc? Not for another few weeks.
3. How are your symptoms? The back pain and cramping are getting pretty bad. I've been told by my doctor to stop lifting anything heavy, which includes my daughter. That's not possible, but I am trying to spend more time cuddling with her sitting down.
4. GTKY: What languages do you speak fluently? Just English and sarcasm, although I speak some Spanish.
1. How far along are you now? 26 weeks. Each week I breath a little easier, although I don't have really worry until labor
, So I breath easier, while also getting more stressed out... makes sense right?
2. Any updates - doctors appointments, ultrasounds, labwork, etc? I have nothing until October 8th when we have another ultra sound to check growth.
3. How are your symptoms?Man this kid is llllooooowwwww and it hurts my muscles. Yesterday I wanted to cry it hurt so bad. Oh well. Healthy baby is worth it! Grey was high, so I never went through this pain.
4. GTKY: What languages do you speak fluently? English and even that is iffy
1. How far along are you now? 30 weeks today and I agree with @hpharding, each week is precious now that PTL is a higher possibility
2. Any updates - doctors appointments, ultrasounds, labwork, etc? I called my OB this morning because I've been getting pains that feel very much like my ovarian cyst pains and I'm afraid the LO has found a cyst to keep kicking. I doubt they'll do anything about it because they obviously can't operate now but I'm waiting to hear back on if I need an ultrasound this week or not.
3. How are your symptoms? Not fun. Heartburn has been a killer this past week as well as sciatic pain. I'll take the pains to keep cooking this healthy LO though! It's SO hard to take it easy and rest with a 2 year old wanting constant attention.
4. GTKY: What languages do you speak fluently? English is the only language I speak, and as PPs said, I'm not even sure I'm great at that!
D14 November Siggy Challenge: The feels of 3rd trimester...
@leosmom25 - that blows! Keep us posted!
1. How far along are you now? 26w3d - YAY!
2. Any updates - doctors appointments, ultrasounds, labwork, etc? Weekly u/s on Thursday am at 8 am.
Looking forward to more good news with growth - FX! Got 'yelled' at by my OB on the weight gain. Still not gaining anything significant and my body is just absolutely using every calorie I take in. I'm sick of food but really am eating like it's my job now because I have to give this little guy as much of a fighting chance as possible.
3. How are your symptoms? Great! Other than feeling sick from eating so much, my blood pressure has been AWESOME and my swelling episodes are minimal. Happy girl here!
4. GTKY: What languages do you speak fluently? English and French - I used to compete in French-speaking competitions when I was younger.
1. How far along are you now?
28w6d. This pregnancy is going by so fast and so slow!
2. Any updates - doctors appointments, ultrasounds, labwork, etc?
None this week. I had my regular OB appointment and MFM appointment last week, and found out my OB has cancer so I get to meet the sub OB next week at my 30 week appointment. I have no idea how this is going to play out.
3. How are your symptoms?
My fasting numbers kept staying high, so I started glyburide last Thursday. So far, so good, except I take it with dinner and want to compensate by carb loading at dinner. I can't do that, but I've been trying...
4. GTKY: What languages do you speak fluently?
English (native tongue), and I have a BA in French. I waffle between working proficiency and near-native fluency in French, depending on if I get to spend any time in a French-speaking region/country.
1. How far along are you now?
26 weeks! Last week of second tri whoo!
2. Any updates - doctors appointments, ultrasounds, labwork, etc?
See ob tomorrow.
3. How are your symptoms?
Nasty headaches are back, almost seem like sinus. Also noticed swelling in hands and feet. My BP has been normal at home, so we'll see what ob says tomorrow.
4. GTKY: What languages do you speak fluently?
In order from most to least: Sarcasm, English & Spanish. Lol Took French all of high school, but not fluent.
2. Any updates - doctors appointments, ultrasounds, labwork, etc? Appointment yesterday the 22nd and it was the LAST ultrasound :-( and last cervical check.. I am now at 2.5 so I HAVE had changes but still looking stable so no one seems to be "alarmed" though I am silently.. Fluid levels normal for this LO and her growth is right on track... Also have my GTT test today so hopefully shall do well on that.
3. How are your symptoms? No sxs
4. GTKY: What languages do you speak fluently? English and Spanish

1. How far along are you now? 30 weeks. Going by my ticker, I've never seen a 3lb cucumber in my life. Seems like a strange one this late in the game
2. Any updates - doctors appointments, ultrasounds, labwork, etc? Have an appointment tonight to get dtap and flu shots. Also need to follow up on spilling protein in my urine. That seems to be getting better. Hopefully it will just go away.
3. How are your symptoms? Fine just tired and huge.
4. GTKY: What languages do you speak fluently? Just English.
my read shelf:

2. Saw MFM today. Baby girl looks good. Big at 3lbs and had hair already. Cervix still unmeasurable and funneled 3 cm. he didn't check if I dilated any more. (1.5 cm last week). Dr optimistic I can make it to 30, maybe even 32 weeks. Will see my OB for cervical check and 3hr glucose
4. I have most symptoms heartburn, pelvic pain, constipation, ache all over, tight abdomen.
5. Only English. Nothing exciting.
