I have such respect for ladies who have hubbies that travel!

So my hubby went away on a fishing trip this weekend. He left early Friday morning and got back 8:30 last night. But oh my gosh all weekend with a toddler is exhausting!!! How do you ladies do it? I think we ate out almost every meal lol. Some of those included families houses. But man. Being mom and dad is so much work. My house looks like a mini tornado went through it. So huge respect for single mom's and ladies who's hubby travels!

    I was just thinking the same thing. DH is OOT for work and I hate it! We've been really lucky in that this is only his 3rd trip since they were born. On weekdays, I'm solo with the boys from wake up until 5/6 anyway, but the whole 2 against 1 in the evening thing is ROUGH! We don't have family around and this 100% solo parenting thing isn't easy. I am so in awe of people who do this more often or 24/7.

    My DH is away for at least one week a month. No doubt about it, it's tough and by Friday afternoon I'm almost ready to lose my $hit. I can't imagine him being away more than that.

    No more frosties

    IVF #2. September 2014

    PGD yielded 2 perfect 5d blasts

    Glad he's home and everyone survived. I'm so glad D doesn't travel as much as he used to. Days are one thing, but evenings are rough. High five for making it through!

    lol :) It's def exhausting that is for sure!  Glad you made it through! I'm not looking forward to my husbands next trip because he leaves saturday and doesn't return till the next friday. Weekend plus crazy work week I will be mentally checked out come friday night. Except that friday is Halloween so I will have to get it together to do some trick or treating!

    Married: 5/09 ~ TTC Since: 10/10 ~ PCOS ~ Progesterone from 10/10 - 2/11 ~ HSG on 3/18 - Clear ~ Started Metformin 1000mg & Clomid 50mg 2/11 ~ Metformin upped to 1500mg 4/6 ~ 6/7 Now going to SG and put on Clomid, Ovidrel, Gonal F, Prometrium, Estrace ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP!!!!!! March 6th our little man was born. 

    6/17/13 - Ovidrel, Follistim, Prometrium ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP! March 17th our St. Pattys day baby arrived

    10/29/17 - Started process for IVF, got pregnant & miscarried a 2nd time since summer. 2/22 started stims - Menopur, Gonal F, Cetrotide - retrieval 3/6 - , PIO, estrace 3xday - FET 4/18 = Beta 1: 616; Beta 2: 1342 = BFP

    It is hard. DH can be gone one week a month, but it has been 6-8 weeks between trips lately.

     Weekends are worse. It is easier to find people to do stuff with during the week. In our crowd, weekends are family and birthday party time. Neither is fun solo.

    Clomid 50mg 12/2011 = BFN
    Clomid 100mg 1/2012 = BFN, with Cyst
    IVF #1 Lupron/Menopur/Gonal-f/HCG Trigger
    ER 4/19/12 = 11 retrieved, 6 fertilized,
    ET 4/22/12 = 2 transfered (day 3), remaining 3 weren't good enough to freeze
    Beta 5/3 = BFP, 87 Beta #2 5/7 560.9 Beta #3 5/9 1376.5 First u/s One Baby, 125bpm!
    Second u/s, 176bmp! Kicked over to the OB by the RE at 8w. Team Green!! 
    Baby girl J arrived two weeks early! Born into water, med-free. Hooray for Team Pink!

    TTC #2 - back to the RE, treatment started 12/2014.

    DH goes on trips for 17 or 18 days at a time. For his next trip (India and China), I'll have a newborn at home to add to the mix! :) It actually does get easier the more you do it, because you find a new rhythm while your husband is gone. I'm always SO glad when he comes home, but it's also an adjustment because the whole family has to get used to a different routine, etc.
    DH and I are Americans living an adventure in Kenya since 2011
    DX: PCOS (annovulatory)
    Feb 2012: IUI #1 w/ only 1M sperm and a single follie = BFP! 
    Nov 2012: Little buddy born in Kenya
    Nov 2013: Trying for a second, still w PCOS
    Dec 2013: IUI cycle canceled for non-response
    Jan 2014: Break cycle BFP!
