Never mind, I don't care. Something hilarious happened at work today. There is this lady in the department next to mine who got caught talking shit about her co-workers over google chat. Like how do you not know how to use g chat? She literally sent it to everyone in her department.

) She's kind of an asshole so I couldn't even feel sorry for her.

Today will be a work from starbucks day for me. I'm gonna head out for a run soon, then get myself and lo ready, take her to dc and head over to starbucks. I think of you all when I see all their pumpkin stuff but yuck!

Oh and trader joes had samples of pumpkin ice cream the other day. I tried it, it was ok.

My coffee is brewing and kids are all still sleeping. This is my quiet morning time and I love it!! I get to Bump, prep for the day, watch the morning news, all by myself!

I found out that the So You Think You Can Dance tour is coming to my city and bought tickets last night as a Christmas present to myself. Does anyone else love that show? I've been obsessed and they have never come to my city before. I'm so freaking excited!!! Best. Show. EVER!

Booo to all the ladies feeling sick or with sick LOs. Hope this Tuesday is awesome!

@Audrey1787 Alex got sick from our trial run at daycare last week. I knee it was only a matter of time. Especially since the other new girl at work (Did I tell you guys they hired a second girl pt temp?) has also been coughing and sick. She says she is on day 11 and is no longer contagious but... :-SS
The best part is she is a waitress and has been working the whole time she has been sick!

Oh ya. If she is sneezing, coughing and constantly wiping her nose than she probably shouldn't be around alll those people. But she went to school for nursing so she "feels" she isn't contagious anymore. /:)
But she did say yesterday that she will probably have to go to the dr if it doesn't go away. #-o

Sorry I haven't been on much, guys. Looking at the computer/phone has just made my head hurt lately.

I have my OB appt today to hopefully see the heartbeat and get a due date! I'm nervous and excited.

I am drinking coffee and bumping while Mer watches MMCH. When Mickey asked a Y/N question, Mer responded "yeah!" and clapped. Someone is very proud of herself!

Today is the one day this week I am working downtown. Tomorrow we get our new sofas delivered to the house! We found side tables we like for the couch and are working through options for the love seat. I might finally have furniture to fill my house! Now to get stuff on the walls....

While on maternity leave, not so much. Now, back at work, with baby? Oh yes. And I HATE coffee. But that feeling of actually registering what your colleagues are telling you? Priceless. I'll even choke down coffee for that.

@martyn17 I wasn't much of a coffee drinker before LO, either.

We went for an awesome walk this morning. I put two pairs of pants, two shirts, hat, mittens and sneakers on Haddy. Overkill? I didn't put the mittens on until half way through the walk when I realized his hands were pretty cold. I can't believe he kept the hat and mittens on, yay!

I think we'll try to go on another walk to the park this afternoon before the big kids get there.

@econmama I hate when that happens after a workout. I feel like once I finally get food I pig out and eat way more than I would have if I had just planned accordingly.

I'm not normally into homeopathic remedies, but last cold season I was turned on to elderberry and I really think it has helped. Mamas who are getting sick/ fighting illness you might consider giving it a try. For example, last week I felt a cold coming on (both kids had colds) and I started taking elderberry like crazy and drank an obscene amount of water for days. I still ended up with a cold, but it was the mildest cold I'd had in years. It comes in syrup form or capsule. Worth a shot, IMO.

We're on a delivery system for coffee every 3 months. It's nice because I don't have to remember to buy it and it's way cheaper than buying it from the cafe down the street. It's the same coffee but without the mark up. Love it

I use K Cups, but my SO will only drink Espresso Verdi so the 5lbs lasts us for 3 months and only costs $42.95 and that includes shipping and handling charges.

If anyone is interested, the company is CoffeeAM. They will send you the bean whole or grind it for whatever style coffee maker you have.

Just made myself a toasted sandwich with home grown lettuce and tomato, cheese and cracked pepper turkey. I'm now going to sit at my desk and eat it with BOTH hands, while I bump. It's the little things in life that matter
