for those of you who just BF at night

LO is just about weaned.  We are just BFing at night before bed.  For those of you who only BF once a day do you BF on both sides?  We usually only BFed on one side in the past but I was not sure if that will dry up my supply since I am BFing only once a day now.  That would mean each breast is only being used every other day.  Thanks.

    I would suggest using both sides. But, I've always used both sides when I nursed so I can't really say for sure what would happen if you didn't.

    We do both sides as often as possible. Some days we are only nursing before bed and I'll try to latch her on my lower producer first so she won't fall asleep before side 2. That said, there have been plenty of times where only one side is nursed in 24 hours and for at least 2 to 3 months that's been working ok. Weekends I have been nursing a little more often on weekends so that night be helping my supply stick around. At almost 16 months, I'm mostly just hoping to get her through winter germy season with some breastmilk, so I'm not hugely concerned about supply.
