So I just got a little girls sheet that we got in the mail that matches a the little boys sheet that we thought we had given to my SIL (we had it from a failed adoption attempt). The girls way discontinued so I had to hunt online for it but I couldn't be more excited that it arrived.

Here's a really random random: yay for starting to get some nipple discharge! TMI? I don't care, it is so exciting to finally see SOME change in my breasts. (Until now, they haven't changed size. I'm VERY fair, and my nips haven't even changed color yet, and probably won't.)

DH freaked out, because it happened literally five minutes after we were having sex, and he definitely had some nip in his mouth during part of that. The idea that I might have leaked into his mouth made him a little green. ;-)

DH one time mindlessly taste tested some breast milk to make sure it was the right temp. That was his last 2 am feeding and I had to handle it from then on out.

@wintersong139 That really made me laugh. I hope I dont get the nip discharge. DH seems to be enjoying my exploding breast size. I have no idea what bra size I am, and I really dont want to go buy any new ones because I feel like its only going to give them space to get bigger.

I second this! I was small(er) to begin with and have grown over a cup size already. I'm only 19 weeks. I REALLLLLLY need a bigger bra, but am seriously holding out until it's absolutely necessary. I mean, my nipples are pretty much playing peek-a-boo in my bra now. Hoping to contain them a bit!

OMG, you just made my day with this post! I'm glad my boss wasn't in the office when I read that because he would have known for sure that I wasn't working due to my laughing outburst.

I've been nursing for over two years now so I think my DH is immune to my breast milk leakage. If he notices that I'm leaking he will just find something else to do, LOL.

So after coming home from work today still with my horrible throbbing headache, slight nausea and dizziness I asked DH to take me to CVS to check my blood pressure. I haven't had BP problems as of yet but know with MoMs it can become an issue. So we went, am in at prehypertension... My diastolic was only 4 away from high blood pressure. Not cool. So I've promised DH to take it easy and stuff but hopefully this was just a one time thing... I don't want this to become an issue, especially this early...

@lizzybean yeah, I try to handle too much on the house and need to just let DH handle it. As far as work, I don't know how I'm going to take it easy there, I only get one break during my day, and it's my combined lunch and planning time so I'm still working more than resting. Sigh.

I just saw the sitting plan for the coming office move. I got placed into a room with 3 men that I dislike. I'll be having far less personal space than before. I'm really sad about this. I hate those 3 people and it makes me sick that I'll have to be in close proximity with them without dividers. Would it be appropriate if I just simply state I'm not comfortable with being in a room with only men?

We did a LOT of work around the house and in the yard this weekend. I have already been feeling like I did too much, but have just been trying to take it easy today. On my way home from work I came up on an over turned tractor trailer. The crash had just happened so I stopped to check on the driver since 911 wasn't on scene yet. The guy was out but had an injured leg. I sat him down and started assessing him and had pretty much finished that about the time the fire department arrived. I had to run the length of the truck in order to get to my van (had been using it to block traffic) and give FD access. As I walked back to where the medics were getting to the patient I noticed smoke coming from the back of the truck. I just looked at the medics and said "we need to move him". About the same time the Fire Capt called for a line to knock the fire. Medics loaded the guy up and I went ahead and headed out. Now that the adrenaline has worn off, my back and round ligament pain are out of control now. I got home and DH started giving me shit for even stopping. I said he would have done the same thing - and he just says it's different since I am pregnant. It's not like I can just turn off that part of my personality. I didn't do anything to put myself or Baby Reid in danger, and now I'm pissed that I got shit for trying to help someone.

@mandamoochie -- I do work with pretty much all men and I am thinking of "all men", actually. I can't imagine having to sit in close proximity of men when I get back from maternity leave, with my boobs leaking here and there!

Sigh. Prob would just have to suck it up. At least I have seniority over them when it comes to picking my seat.

@kkleigh10 How did the dr determine the increased risk?

18 weeks would make her to late to have a CVS, and the thing about the amnio is that the risk of it causing a MC is not much better than the risk she has of T21.

For me, depending on how the dr came up with the increased risk rate, I probably would consider doing the cellfree DNA test first. What I was told when I had to make a similar decision is that while yes, the Panorama (or similar) screen is not diagnostic like the amnio would be, it is given a lot more weight than the first tri screen because it is actually looking at the DNA. I was told that taking the cfDNA test and looking for anatomical issues with the A/S would give us almost as good of an answer as the amnio.

ETA: I have no idea why this keeps coming up blue...

Sad news. While I was out birthday shopping Josh called me. Our neighbor died this morning. He died in his sleep, he wasn't even sick. I went next door first thing when I got home but the neighbor lady was on the phone with relatives so I talked to her daughter. They where married 60 years. So either Friday or Saturday we will be attending his funeral.

I put up my Facebook guess the sex post. People don't care about anything else in a pregnancy but they love guessing the sex and feeling like they helped pick something for the baby. It's dumb but my mom and younger siblings love it so it's worth it. The general consensus is girl though.

@psychobutthead My Grandma passed away in her sleep suddenly a couple of months ago. My grandparents had also been married for 60 years. In the days and weeks following, my Grandpa leaned on his neighbours a lot in the times when his children and grandchildren could not be there with him.
It is wonderful that you can be there for your neighbour. She will be very appreciative for any time you can spend with her.
Sorry, I didn't mean to unload my shit on you, I just wanted to let you know it is very kind of you to be there for her. I'm sorry for your loss.

It sounds like F15 has had quite a case of the Mondays. I had to bring DS to the pedi, he has had a persistent cough and it has gotten worse. I was just thinking it was allergies, but he had a low grade fever this afternoon so I figured we should head in. He just has a cold, which is good, but he is cranky and clingy and I missed my pre-natal yoga class and discussion tonight. DH has either class or OT every night this week, so I'm all alone. He tried to make up for if by bringing me ice cream tonight, but he picked it up when he left class an hour ago, so it will be soft and mushy by the time he gets here. Also, it is just plain chocolate. Boring. I feel like he doesn't even know who I am.

Mom made the mistake of telling me that she was more excited about my a/s than I am. She's gotten hourly reminders since the 24 hour mark and will continue to do so until I fall asleep and will begin again as soon as I wake up until the appointment. She then won't hear from me for hours. She's been claiming to be more excited than me for a week.

Stress does but I get them more whenever I am around any viruses. DH caught a cold from a kid in school last week. I didn't get the cold but it looks like my warning meter went off that I was at least exposed. I tend to get them more in pregnancy too...lowered immune system?
