I'm still running and baby is still staying in there. They come when they are ready, which is exactly how it should be. It does sound like your body is getting ready, OP.
How is this even physically possible????
I'm impressed.
Ditto. I stopped at about 28 weeks and I tried to do it like 2 weeks ago for 10 minutes and it surprisingly felt comfortable while I was doing it, but I was in pain for like the next 3 days afterwards. Not gotta lie...if this kid is still in there at 40 weeks, I am going to run (not walk) him out.
Every pregnancy is different. I actually had to stop running at 27 weeks with DS. Since I hit week 27 with this pregnancy, I've assume every week that it will be my last week of running but I've continued to feel okay week after week so I'm still doing it.

Running put me in the hospital at 27 weeks and then benched me until 33. But the time was able to give it a try again I was just too huge and out of practice.
Sometimes being up causes more contractions, but probably just Braxton hicks. I have a more irritable uterus.. Yay... : (. ... And get frequent BH whenever I stand or walk, so igot put on bedrest till 37 weeks. Walks are grea for you and baby! Keep going on them, but don't overthink it: )
