Not surprisingly IUI# 3 has ended in a BFFN....given DHs post wash numbers we were expecting this...right now we are just trying to figure out how to cover the cost of IVF. We are 100% OOP.

DH and I were hooked up by his cousin. I went to college with his cousin and she always kept talking about her tall and handsome cousin.

3rd cycle of Femara, gearing up for IUI#2 (with trigger this time around). This is a good time of the cycle because things are peaceful (a week without an appointment) but taking pills every day feels like we're doing something productive!

Congrats to our recent BFPs!! I think this has got to be some kind of record. I was thinking, maybe because we've all been bonding and praying for each other? Feels like we're getting closer to finally clearing out all of 3T!

QOTW: DH's BFF told him to come visit the English language school where he went, since there were many hot American girls teaching (this was in China). He really meant a beautiful blonde woman who was tutoring him, but when I walked out the door to the street that evening and saw DH waiting for his friend, it was love at first sight for both of us - we both visibly kind of jumped when we saw each other. It was meant to be.

We just said hello, but then went home thinking about each other and looked for excuses to hang out the last couple weeks before I had to go back to the US for school. I promised him I'd come back the next summer, and I did...then the summer after that to get married and stay.

@ttcbabyj Sorry for the BFN...even more difficult when the next move is OOP IVF.

Well this was my lucky cycle! I'm hoping and praying for awesome numbers on Wednesday. I wish you ladies all the best of luck and I hope to see you on our sister board very soon. I'm scared to go over there because I won't know anyone but super excited at the same time. Thank you for all your support

Then he when I got to high school we had an elective together and we were both dating someone at the time and he said "I'll break up with Ashely if you break up with Miguel" and I said "ok". Been together ever since 2002. Love him to death!!

IUI #4 was a BFN...just took my second test this morning. So I'm stopping the crinone and waiting for AF to arrive. We are setting up a consult with the doctor for hopefully ASAP to decide next steps. The last plan was to do one more Femara round with IUI. I think we will stick with that and then take a break till the new year.

Congrats to all the BFPs!

My husband and I met at a housewarming party of a mutual friend...funny enough we found out we went to the same college and high school and our families new each other! Like his uncles painted my house twice when I was growing up, our sisters played volleyball together...stuff like that.

IUI #1 was a BFN. I was due to take a preg test on Saturday but AF showed up on Thursday. Ultrasound #1 was this morning for IUI #2. DH's post wash numbers are not great so we are prepping ourselves for moving on to IVF. We are 100% OOP and are submitting our applications to Design RX and Compassionate Care today to see what we can get.

QOTW: DH and I work at the same office. He got brave one day and introduced himself to me at a company outing in 2008 and we have been together ever since

I'm just hanging out over here in the 2WW, doc said I ended up with 2 mature follicles and the hubs numbers were great. Plus she said I had tons of CM, so I feel a little better about the timing this time around. Test day is Oct. 1st, but I will most definitely POAS before then. I'm oddly calm this time, which is great, it's super refreshing to not be obsessing every second.

This made me laugh because mine is so similar! DH and I met in high school, my best friend at the time was relaying messages between us during the summer (she was also his neighbor). So I knew he was going to ask me out on Monday, so Sunday night I broke up with my on again off again boyfriend, haha! High school relationships are so funny. But we instantly clicked, we are so fortunate to have found each other so early in life. AND we have also been together since 2002!

Hi ladies - looks like I'm 'graduating' from this check in, just not in the way I'd hoped! Today appears to be cd 1, so we are officially beginning our wait to start IVF in January. It seems so far away at this point.

Hoping I can muster up the strength to take care of myself and reach some personal goals without treatments getting in the way over the next few months.

We just did IUI#1 on Sunday. So I'm in the 2WW. Test day is 10/3..

QOTW : I met my husband in 2007, when he started working at the same place I did. We worked together very closely, and ended up really liking each other, but we were both in relationships, so we never pursued anything. I ended up getting Pg in 2008 by my then bf... When MH found out he was very sad because he knew he didn't have a chance with me, so he quit and moved away. We lost touch for over a year, so he never knew that I miscarried only after 8 weeks. When I finally became single in 2009, I took a chance and tried to contact him.. Thanks to MySpace we found each other and started a relationship. 4 years later we were married!!!!

Hi ladies!

I went in for my third U/S this morning and had a 20mm follie and a 16mm follie. This is the first time my left side has ever had a bigger follie than my right, so I guess follistim did it's job. I'm triggering tomorrow and will go in for IUI #4 tomorrow. It's really hard to be hopeful but I'm trying to stay positive. I mean, I'm triggering on CD10? WTF? And IUI on CD11? Cool, cause all the other times we've done this it's ended in an BFN.

QOTW: We used to work for the same organization. I was in a relationship and he was single, so I never really paid very much attention to the extra attention he was showing me. (He was higher up in the organization than I was, so it was "different" for a director to help a coordinator the way he was.) My relationship ended, and we both went to happy hour at the same bar with different groups. We started talking and hanging out and instantly clicked. It took us awhile to actually start dating (complications with my breakup, he's 12 years older than me...) but once we went for it, we realized what a great decision it was. 9 months later we were engaged

Hi ladies! I'm a little nervous to be posting because I'm sort of shy, but this whole process has become so overwhelming. I've been a "lurker" (that sounds creepier than it actually is, haha) for quite some time now and figured I might as well just jump in! I'm hoping that this will become a support system for me (as well as me to give to others!) and not have to always dump on my DH.

A little about me: I am currently going in for an ultrasound and trigger today after taking Clomid CD 3-7. I'm on CD13, with IUI tomorrow or Wednesday. This will be my first cycle, so I'm hoping test day will be October 7th, if all goes well.

Nice to meet everyone, and best wishes to everyone at every point in this process!

Hey ladies! I'm so happy to see all of our September BFPs. Overall it's been a good month for our little check in!

AFM: IUI #2 was a bust. AF showed up yesterday. It's a hard one to take because it was so perfect on paper.

After a lot of discussion, DH and I have decided to take a long break until after the holidays. I know it's the right choice but I'm pretty much devastated. January seems soooo far away right now, but I'm hoping I can come to peace with this decision soon and find a silver lining.

QOTW: DH and I met through mutual friends. Our best friends were dating and kept telling us we REALLY needed to meet each other....that we were the male and female versions of each other. We were both just coming out of other relationships and were not at all interested. One night I was at a bar with my best friend and he walked in...she called it fate and insisted on introducing us. After seeing how handsome he was, I didn't argue. We were engaged 6 months later and married a month after that. Glad fate stepped in...he's definitely my soul mate!

Just finished up my clomid this past Saturday I go in for u/s this Wednesday and will receive the trigger shot and then iui should happen this Friday. I just had my tubes checked which they were not blocked! So I am confident but cautious about this round. I'm trying to stay calm and optimistic about it all. It's such a whirlwind. Just wish I could fast forward to Friday and then again through the 2WW...so not looking forward to it I was such an emotional mess last month's 2WW....my poor hubby!

QOTW: I met my husband when I was 15 on the good ol' MO river. We both kept making eye contact on a sand bar and then that night I stayed up late with my best friend just talking about him and how attractive he is and how I would so date him.... A few days later I got a text that read "hey what's up?" After I figured out who it was I was so happy we've been together for 7 years and married for 2 he's seriously my best friend and favorite person in the whole world. And through this TTC process we've definitely became closer! Love him for ever!!!

I'd like to be added!

I'm in 2WW on IUI #2. Test date 10/4.

Not feeling too good about this one. I had a ton of cramping after IUI which I've heard is a sign that the timing was off. Follies developed much quicker than usual, only one matured. Sperm was "excellent" though. After the procedure I went back to work where, of all days, I had a metal tray full of heavy gears launch itself directly into my stomach. On top of all that I'm rapidly losing trust in my RE. I do have a consult set up with a new RE in a few weeks though. So that makes me feel a little better knowing that I have a plan in place.

We met through mutual friends who invited me to a party he was having. I went to high school with him and loved to watch his band play so I knew who he was, but never really met him. I went to the party and pretty much never left

@loveinkw13 I triggered on CD9 and had my IUI on CD11. It usually takes me much longer. Maybe this is our month

@egray13 I'm mostly a lurker too. Trying to become a little more involved now that I actually have a little knowledge I feel might help someone else. Lord knows these ladies have helped me with questions (and sanity).

Still in my 2ww for IUI #1 with my beta coming up this Friday. Not feeling as confident as I was when I first started this process. Not sure why. Still very hopeful though. I agonize over every little twinge I feel and wonder what it could be.

Met dh online ... Dun dun dun. We were just chat room buddies (do they even have chat rooms anymore?) we started talking on the phone and then eventually met in person. Been together ever since. I envy those of you who were set up by friends or were college sweethearts. It sounds creepy to me to say I met my online chat buddy but that's our story and I'm sticking with it. Haha

Hi ladies, I'm so sorry for all the BFN's, they are awful. Hugs to all. I am soooo happy for our lucky BFP ladies, we need to keep it going!!! I'm still on my break from RE cycles...I haven't looked in to IVF yet at all even though I should. I am clinging to hope for that rare, off-cycle miracle BFP. I got a pos opk yesterday on CD33 (!?) of my first cycle post IUI's, sooooo, I guess the ovaries are like 'hey sister why you bogarting the gonadotropins? We need the good stuff..."

Anyhoo, QOTW:

I met my hubs on St. Paddy's Day 2001...found him at a random house party near Boston that I ended up at. I had had many Guinness that day, and I was feeling randy so I took him home. Someone said he was a good Irish Catholic boy and wouldn't like that I was so "loose"...but I learned quite soon that Irish Catholic boys actually LOVE loose women. We just had our 9th wedding anniversary.

@egray13 Welcome! I'm shy too, even online can be a little intimidating! I still take forever to type up anything and hit the "post" button. I can re-read it for 20 minutes or more just to make sure it doesn't sound stupid :P But all the girls here are awesome so no need to worry!

It's CD 7 today and I went in for my 2nd Follicle scan. I had one on Saturday as well. I finished my femera last night, and today will be day 3 of Puregon injections. Today's scan looks like I have 3, MAYBE 4 follicles, but they think one of them is most likely a cyst so 3 is probably the number we are at now. I think the nurse said 16mm, 14mm, 12mm and 10mm? I could be remembering wrong because I just got off nights and was really tired!! It's either the 16mm or the 14mm one that they think is just a cyst because I had it on Saturday and it was around the same size (and did not have the others). Nurse said DH and I can still have some fun tonight if we like but should probably hold off after today since they'd like for us to have about 3 - 4 days of abstinence.

QOTW: Like I said earlier in the post, I am shy, so meeting boys in RL wasn't happening!! I met my DH on Plenty of Fish .com

I got a msg from him on the site and he happened to mention Superman (DH is a HUGE collector, we have a whole basement FULL of figures and statues and other collectables from DC and Marvel, especially Superman and Wolverine stuff!!). We talked for 2 - 3 weeks online before we met in RL. Within 5 months we were living together, and at 8 months started TTC. A little backwards I know, but at the rate we're at we should have started on our first date - I'm sure DH wouldn't have minded lol. At just over a year we got engaged, and got married last year after 2 and a half years of dating.

I'm on cd13 for IUI#3. This morning I had two follicles: 15mm and 17mm. They'd like them to be a little bigger so I go back in tomorrow to see how they're doing. I'd really love for them to both be at least 18mm before trigger so I hope the little one catches up!!

QOTW: I first met my husband at a house party of a mutual friend, but he didn't seem that interested in talking to me. He remembers the party but doesn't remember meeting me, so apparently I did not make an impression. I met him again a few years later because thanks to having other mutual friends he joined my softball team. He was dating someone else by then so we were just friends... we played on the same team for a couple of years. During that time we became closer and closer friends and when we finally found ourselves both single at the same time, we started dating and became serious very quickly!

Sorry this is going to be a post and run. I had my first IUI today! DH sperm volume was good, not great, but good enough. The IUI caused me only minor cramping.

The RE office suggested we DTD tonight and tomorrow to cover all the days. Have you ladies had to do extra days of BD as well?

I had my first IUI yesterday morning and we were told to BD in the evening as well.

I am on my third medicated round. I will have my IUI Friday, 09/26. I switched to Clomid after two failed rounds with Femara (1st was CP, 2nd poor response). At today's ultrasound, I had two mature follicles on the right & two, on the left, that will hopefully catch up by Friday

QOTW-I met my DH at our hair salon. I was getting highlights & my hair was up in foil. He happened to notice my eyes & asked our mutual hairstylist about me. We were both dating people at the time. A few months later, after my relationship fell apart, I called & asked her to give him my number. The rest is history! Total fate, if you ask me

We are just sitting in the 2WW. 3 more days until our beta. Everyone always tells us we need to think positive. Ok, so we are this time. For the past 2 weeks we have spoken as if we are pregnant so we will see if this works. Will try anything at this point LOL!! The numbers aren't really in our favor since we hat 1 follie and dh only had 3 mil washed. At least we learned that IUI directly following a long, Hot work night for him does not work to well. His count has never been an issue for us. But it only takes 1 right?

DH and I met through one of my best friends at the time. She had the hots for him and wanted me to meet her new soon to be flame. They ended up dating for 2 yrs. Him and I became close as friends after they split. My Mom was dx with cancer about 6 months later and he stepped up as my best friend. Held my hand through it all. Ended up falling in love with my best friend. That was 6 yrs ago.

Had iui #2 in late July. Had to take a month off because of leftover follies. Now I made three eggs on my own without clomid, all are good size just 5 days after AF finished. Took ovidrel last night and hoping the old fashioned way works.

I'm a newbie to the group, but unfortunately not a newbie to the IUI process.. my 2WW ends Sunday.. with bloodwork scheduled for Wednesday, which just so happens to be our 3 year wedding anniversary! What a treat that would be... not experiencing any symptoms or signs though

Delayed response, sorry! Things have gotten crazy busy, and I know I have been MIA again.

I am on CDay12 and have an appointment for U/S and B/W tomorrow to check on follies for IUI #6.
Based on temps, FF says I O'ed on Monday, which of course I hope is wrong!! I'm guessing that it may simply be that for the past few days I added a fairly heavy blanket to the bed, and that's why I have had higher temps in the morning. I have had no positive OPKs.

It may sound either cheesy or sweet, but DH and I met back in high school, we were in a musical together, and one of our first dates was the prom. Though we went to colleges a few hours apart from each other, we stayed together (and put a lot of mileage on our cars), then moved in together. It was actually over ten years before we officially tied the knot.

Hey everyone! I'm also a newbie to the group, but not a newbie to the iui process. This will be our 5th iui and our second with injections. I just had my ultrasound today to check my follicle count on day 10 and they were all still pretty small (11-13 range). I figure it's still fairly early though. So now my dose is being upped to 2 menopur and 1 bravelle. Then I go for another ultrasound on Monday. I'm really hoping and praying that this is it, but we will see! I wish everyone well : )

Beta results in and IUI # 3 is a BFN UGH!!! All thinking positive did for us is made it hurt so much worse when the results came in. Now to wait for AF. We aren't sure what we want to do next. Doc was impressed with how this cycle went so he wants to try one more IUI cycle. I'm just so tired of being poked and probed. Been at this for over 3 yrs. Have the house to myself tonight so gonna take some needed R&R.

Me: 26 (IC/PCOS-2000mg of Metformin daily)

DH: 27 (SA results were great minus the slightly low morphology)

Started dating DH in 2002 at 14 years old

Married on 03.01.2014

Officially TTC since April 2014

January 2013- Surprise BFP, m/c at 6 weeks, D&C 2 Weeks later

April 2014- First RE appointment

July 2014- IUI#1-Canx due to scar tissue and polyps. TI with the help of Ovidrel. BFN
