Rash

Has anyone's LO gotten a yeast rash on their body after taking antibiotics? How long did it take to show after stopping three medicine?

DD finished an antibiotic Tuesday, on Wednesday she developed a diaper rash that didn't clear up with desitin, (we're using coconut oil now) Friday at lunch she had a rash on her arms and legs and a little on her face. DH had her sitting in the field earlier and sometimes she gets a little rash from grass. So now this rash is on her face, one ear, arms, legs, hands, feet and diaper area. No fever, no bumps in mouth. She's acting normal too. Dr. Google says it looks like yeast rash or fifths disease. When her diaper rash first started I remember thinking it looked like poison ivy if that helps describe it. Anyways, just trying to figure it out. Thanks

    I agree with PP. I would call the Dr just to be sure.

    Thanks, I talked to my SIL who is a nurse and MIL who is a retired nurse and decided to watch it over the weekend. If she isn't doing better by Monday I'll call the Dr. It really doesn't seem to bother her, just looks awful. We will definitely have to keep an eye out for allergy and I took pictures so even if it's clearing up when we go in for her 1 year I'll show them to get Dr. and see what he says.
