There are three factors that play a role in embryo development: Egg, sperm, and the lab.
I'm not an expert by any means, but my understanding is that MFI manifests in an embryo after day 3, so I'm not sure if this a sperm issue. Is your donor proven? Can you ask about the quality of embryos of the other egg recipient?
I know embryos can repair themselves by day 5! I hope this is the case for you! You are still in this! Sending lots of positive vibes to your embies. Hang in there sweetie!!

Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive. Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

2/12-5/12: 4 IUI cycles = all BFN;

Lupus anticoagulant initially high, then found to be normal on hematology consult;
Follow up testing in September all clear;
Started synthroid for "high normal" TSH;

DE FET #4 - last 2 frosties....5/22/15- Transferred 1 4BA embryo...only one frostie thawed properly. Beta scheduled for 6/1- BFN (beta 2, 2.81, 6, 23, 49.4) 6/15/15 Discovered ectopic in left tube. Methotrexate given. Moving on to a new donor. Hoping to transfer by the end of the year.
Cant find a donor that is healthy and available. Looking at being happy with just the two of us.

((hugs)) Don't give up yet a lot can change from day 3 to day 5. My embryos have always been super crappy quality on day 3, but we have had some top grade blasts. We haven't had a successful cycle, but I don't know how much is because of embryo quality and how much is from immune issues. Good luck, I have my FX for you!

October 2012-May 2014: 4 failed IUIs, 3 failed IVFs, and 1 failed FETw/donor embryos
November 2014: IVF w/ICSI #4 Agonist/Antagonist with EPP and Prednisone, Baby Aspirin, Lovenox, and IVIG for immune issues. Converted to freeze all due to lining issues. 2 blasts frozen on day 6!
January 2015: FET #2 Cancelled due to lining issues
April 2015: FET #2.1
