There is just no possible way for me to sleep comfy anymore!!! And weirdly enough I have reverted to sleeping like I did when I was 10 ears old? Normally I sleep undercovers on my side and good to go now I have to be on my back sheet between my thighs one leg out of covers one leg in its ridiculous and annoying!!!
@miniwheat10 I can't decide if a sick kid or sick husband is worse. My husband got the plague a stomach virus when I was 8 months pregnant with DD. He asked me to lay in bed with him, and when I said no, he said "Don't you love me?"
Sleep did not come easy for me last night. My pup needed to be ON TOP on me. Or if not, squeezed between me and my snoogle. She's lucky she's so cute. DH is having tummy problems so his farts kept waking me up, and then I just couldn't go back to sleep. But we're getting ready to head to the Patriots home opener today! Yayyyy. I hope I have the energy to make it through a full day of tailgating and football. I imagine I'm not going to be feeling up to many late season games, so I'm determined to soak up as much football as I can early in the season.
Bought a sweater at Pea in A Pod yesterday. So freaking comfy. I will b wearing that every other day lol.
First purchase last night. PnP on Amazon. Price was good and it was a basic one for my bedrm. But holy cow reading the 100+ reviews made it more confusing. How can 3 pp say it smells and the other 80 say no! Made my head spin.
ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
Met with RE 4/11.
2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do
"shared" program.
Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months.
Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive. Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)
DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!
DD is being such a little trooper with this nasty bout of HFMD. My poor hands are so dry & cracked from washing them 50 times a day in hopes of not catching the virus.
I went through all of DD's old clothes and bagged up all the ones to get rid of and washed all the ones we're keeping for DD2. At one point I thought we would be one & done, so I got rid of a lot of her infant clothes. However, I didn't realize how much I kept! I guess subconsciously I knew we'd have more LOs.
What is everyone's impression of Kid to Kid? I have one near me but the reviews are terrible. Most of them say the products they turn away are nice but the ones they have in store look old & dirty...and the discounts aren't at all a deal.
First regular season games of rugby on island today, so I'm headed out to cheer my ladies (and maybe the boys, can't decide) on.
DH's work stuff is about to get interesting, so I (as the non-Canadian and reader of potential insurance policies) have to look at and decide what direction we're potentially going. Even better, our policy could change in the next two weeks or the next few months. We have no idea.
Snorkeling was awesome yesterday, but it seriously made me miss diving. No big fish, but 3 eagle rays in the harbor and a pretty reasonable sized trumpet-fish. The coral looked amazing.
@jmcgra06 just to look! Ella likes to see all of the animals and DH lusts after the big tropical fish tanks. DH is allergic to cats and dogs so it's nice to see Ella interacting with little puppies and kitties.
We had so much fun at the Tough Mudder!! Lots of muddy kisses, and though I had to turn my competitor pass into a very expensive spectator pass, DD and I had a blast following "Dadada" and our friends around. she was the cutest cheerleader clapping every time she saw him and the only tears that came in a full day out in the stroller came when he ran over, gave us kisses then ran away.. Which I agree was so mean!
I also slept horribly the last two nights. I am getting ready to do some at home prenatal yoga video. It really helped me last week, so I'm hopeful it will today. The in-laws are coming over today. DH is out buying a new toilet for our half bathroom. FIL and DH will be replacing the toilet.. should be interesting. Meanwhile, MIL and I are addressing the shower invites. Crazy planners over here.

@AF9211 I love kid to kid. I've spent way too much money there over DS's 2 year life time. I've never noticed the clothes they have being dirty or gross but I can vouch that they won't take a good item, even in excellent condition, if they have a lot of them already or aren't in season (jackets, swim wear, etc). There are also some products that they can't take for liability reasons. Overall, I love it.
Just finished up making eggs, bacon and hash browns for breakfast. This cold is on it's way out and I finally have an appetite again. Then were heading to church and lunch with DH's parents. I have a bridal shower for my sister tonight so I have to make some stuff for that yet. Fun times.
At urgent care with DH. His feet and ankles keep swelling I say it's sympathy symptoms, but really I hope he's ok. He's a type 1 diabetic, so there's always concern.
I hope everyone gets some rest and head a good day.

Thanks @jennhillhoite! I'm interested in baby gear (carrier, swing) and figured I'd give a consignment shop a try first.
Random question, I've heard a lot of moms talk about stocking up on some supplies at the hospital. What kind of stuff do you get at the hospital? Do they just start handing you tons of stuff for the baby? Or do you generally ask for the extra supplies? Just curious.
I went to a Pottery Barn Outlet about 2 hours from my house yesterday. 1. I didn't even know this existed. 2. It's heaven on earth. I got a crib skirt and 2 crib sheets for $62 (including tax) WAY better than the really expensive bedding I want!

@isabelc687 I assumed you weren't allowed to "take" stuff, so I tried to shove everything I could into my bag until the nurse came in and said "um, that's all for you so take whatever you want." I felt like an a-hole trying to sneak it all in my bag before leaving.
Everything that was in her bassinet cart was mine for the taking: receiving blankets, burp cloths, pacifiers, nose bulbs, diapers and formula. I took it all.
We are heading out to church. Then my son will spend the day with grandma while my husband and I go to a local meat and beer festival with some friends where I will EAT ALL THE MEAT!!!
I am very excited about this. I won't even miss the beer since the brewery makes this amazing ginger ale. Mmmm gingery deliciousness with meaty deliciousness...

Got it. Lol! Same thing would have happened to me! I would have totally been caught trying to sneak all the freebies. That's why I figured I'd ask first.

My hospital let us take everything except baby blankets, onesies, and towels. Make sure you check because they might charge you if you take some stuff you're not supposed to.
I too slept terrible last night. DS was very active yesterday, so I spent a lot of time walking him, or picking him up. My back is killing me still. I've been able to avoid intense sciatica pain so far, but alas no longer. *sigh* I think a Panera breakfast would make me feel better...

Our nurse basically told us to take everything we could every time she restocked. The only things they asked us to leave were the balances and t-shirts.

DH and DD are sick so I'm trying to stay far far away from them today. I made some Spanish soup called sopa de salchichon and it's just so so good. Now they're both taking naps so I get to watch something other than Disney or nickjr. Yay!
I'm officially too pregnant to wash my own hair. My arms are tired and my back hurts! And I still have to washout the deep conditioner, blow-dry and flat iron! Someone help me!
F15 January Siggy Challenge: What I'm Looking Forward to After the Babies Arrive Bringing them both home...UPDATE...The girls are home!!! 1/7/15 after 20 days in the NICU!
Carrying DS up and down stairs is getting harder and more uncomfortable. I guess he'll start doing his own walking soon but I'm gonna miss his cuddling while I'm carrying him up to his room for a nap.
I have a question about baby carriers. I looked through the Products We Love post & Google doc, but a lot of people said they didn't use theirs for whatever reason. I found another post on another board, but everyone suggested wraps, not carriers.
What is the best baby carrier for newborns? I'm not looking for a wrap, but a soft carrier with lumbar support. I want something I can put DD2 in when we're out and about (errands, shopping, whatever). Something quick. I'm trying to avoid using a double stroller those first few months. I had a cheap one with DD1...it did the trick, but we could only use it when she was able to hold up her head/neck.
Right now I'm leaning towards the ERGObaby carrier with a newborn insert. Thoughts?
I slept awful too. First night all week I didn't have heartburn and dh woke up throwing up and he's loud so it woke up Dd. We're supposed to go out for our anniversary that we had to cancel last week and it looks like I'll be cancelling again :-(
The social security administration posted the official top 10 of 2013 if anyone is interested. I may be late on this but I've just started looking at names seriously. I've always loved checking how popular a name is before deciding if I want to use it or not.
I ate the rest of my giant chocolate cake slice for pre-lunch. Holy malted milk balls, it is giving me the worst heartburn ever. I've never had heartburn in my life prior to the creation of this little jellybean, but I am getting it pretty much everyday now. Eeeek. Good thing I kinda like Tums (they remind me of the Neccos candy my mom used to share with me when I was little). Also, chocolate fatty-goodness cake = totally worth it. But now I should probably go for a long walk instead of taking an afternoon nap.
