My husband and I are also in the car business.
I love Nissan's for their weight and comfort of driving, however they are not great on mpg and like a pp said very expensive to insure mostly because of their weight and price of parts. If you aren't concerned about ownership cost I would said that you are on the right track. If you want something more long term wallet friendly I would take a look at the Mazda CX-5.
Re: 2014 Nissan Rogue. Does anyone have one?
I did see the Rogue once and my husband test drive it, but we weren't serious about it at the time so we need to go back. It's definitely bigger than the older body style, too.
I was hoping somone had one and could give me their pros and cons after using it.
Thanks.
I will look into my insurance price in advance to check it out. Thanks!
@jenb_99 I lucked out and the insurance is the same price for the jeep or the Rogue. Maybe it depends on the state I'm in or something. Still a little concerned about service prices, though.
The 2014 and 2015 Rogue's are getting much better MPG's. 33 highway is pretty good and they made them bigger which is awesome! I looked into the car insurance and got quotes for grand cherokee, Rogue, Ford escape and Hyundai Tucson. The rogue and cherokee were the same price and the escape and Tucson were about $40 cheaper per year. Not bad at all. Price for parts is going to be a gamble I guess.
