We had our A/S yesterday. Baby Godzilla looks great and all measurements are on par with what week I currently am. The Tech said that due to the measurements, Baby Godzilla will be born on 2/1/15.
Plus we are team BLUE!! I am so excited about that.
I don't think I can take all the losses today, along with the moron on M15. I have just been starting to feel like my loss was a "fluke". Not that I'm safe until these babies are born safely, but I was starting to not freak out daily. Ugh.
I know I started crying when I saw today, I am counting down to viability for my next goal, then 34wks then 36.
Same goal here. I just want to make t to viability. At that point at least if something were to happen there is hope of taking home the babies. Then I really want to get to 34 weeks so that I can deliver at my hospital of choice. Fingers crossed for our twins @chickyclg!!!
always have hope. i have a nephew born at 28 weeks and he lived. everyone tokd my stepsister he wouldnt and all of her family refused to buy himcanything except for me and hes now in first grade.
Iam at DDs karate. Normally I woukdnt mind but Im tired as hell.
Tomorrow is my 16 week obgyn appointment.

Twins? You mean two babies? WOW!
Team PURPLE!!
We are excited to meet William Alexander and Harper Abigail in 2015!
I just read so much on this thread (and then took a looksie at the horrible UO thread). I just wanted to say two things.
1. Norah is a great name and I love saying it every day. We have had some great nicknames come out of it too.
2. Whoever said that their bed skirt is useless after you drop the mattress, it is not! I pulled it up in the middle and put a rubber band around it. worked like a charm and the things under the crib are still hidden.
@kefttsc yeah I remember it was a really hard time for her. I remember I asked her what kind of bottles she wanted for him and buying her the winnie the pooh soothie starter set and buying him a bunch of preemie outfits. Her daughter was also preemie because she has an incompetent cervix so she'll never be able to carry a baby full term.
@chickyclg no more than usual actually. Just my hours have been changed. My boss is making all head custodians work 9 to 5:30 two days a week every week this month. Which wouldn't be bad but I still have to wake up at 6 and get my daughter to school. So I don't get to sleep in to make up not getting a nap and theres more work that I do on that shift.
Ugh I read the MAY15 UO post. Anyone thats suffered a loss wouldn't think that way. I don't care how narrow minded a person is. If they had actually had a loss that crap wouldn't have been said.
So apparently Dh's mom is trying to stick up for us now. Shes trying to change what shes told his siblings about what he said when his sister was pregnant to the truth now. But now that shes finally telling the truth they won't hear it because they believed her when she was lying.
I'm out of it. Not touching that drama with a 10FT pole.
I think DH is going to love it and get a kick out of it.

This happened yesterday, but I forgot to mention it:
I was at the gym, on a machine, puffing away, and a lady also working out there came up to me and asked, "so, are you going to eat the placenta?" @-) :-S
This lady is always super into everyone's business, and always asks me about pregnancy progress in a semi-aggressive way ("have you felt kicks yet?" "do you know the sex yet?"), so I'm not that surprised, but I was definitely like, "ummmm?!?"
I ended up mouthing "can't talk right now" and then after I was done on the machine, managed, "so, I know people do that, but no, it's just not my thing. And honestly, gosh, I don't really want to think about that while I'm pregnant!" with a big smile. She then told me about her friend's daughter who not only did that, but her husband had some too, and how you can make it into smoothies, put it in capsules, etc.
I have heard of this before, mostly from STFU, Parents, but wow, there's nothing like having that image put into your head when you're working out (on an empty stomach, btw, which was my own fault)! Uggggggh.
1. who is this crazy lady at the gym? 2. why the heck is she all up in your business? 3. WHO ASKS THAT? 4. WHO DOES THAT(eats the placenta)? edited: why not what
Haha you asked the same questions I was thinking, although I know some moms who've had their placenta made into capsules to take instead of actually cooking and eating it. There's even a way to do it yourself...if you're so inclined. Supposedly there are numerous benefits to ingesting your placenta, from easier recovery to lessened chance of PPD. Personally, I won't spend the money (it isn't cheap), but I respect other mothers who've made the decision.
I was secretly hoping for another girl till tonight that is. My oldest just started her period and my youngest is going all emotional on us now. My emotions are in hyper gear and all i can think now is maybe we could do with a little testosterone in this house.
I feel so bad for you, @AngieAn. My little sister recently started her period and has been emotional so I get a phone call daily for my mom to vent to me. The most recent is that advanced classes are for snobs and she refuses to participate in that. I don't understand that logic but her best friend and her crush do so that's what matters.
Oh @AngieAn good luck hun! My sister is 18 and she is just such a self centered brat right now. We are usually best friends but it is so hard to even talk to her right now. Those teen years are no joke. And Im going to have 2 girls less than three years apart.
I recently learned that my hometown is among the top ten least educated cities in America. Can I blame typos, poor grammar and improper use of punctuation on that?
