OMG he's been trying to push it on me for like 5 years now. "Well what if we spell it Espin?" He wants Espn James. NOT.HAPPENING.DUDE.
    I can't stop laughing haha
  • Siobhan is one of my favorite names. I have considered it but DH thinks it would be mispronounced a lot. My family is Irish (like 5th gen potato famine immigrants). It's always been pronounced "Shi-Vaughn" or "Sha-vaughn".
Yeah..I was trying to say this too , haha.

    lt is a tricky name!

@ColeRose how to you pronounce Graeme? I've never seen that name before and I can't figure it out.

It is the Scottish version of Graham, pronounced the same way here in the US. In Scotland/UK they pronounce it like GRAY-uhm instead of GRAM though.
That's kinda what I was thinking! Cute!

If we have a girl in the future, she will be Evelyn. We were Team Green with LO and Evelyn was our choice for a girl.  I also like Brynn for a girl.

Heaven help us if we have another boy, because LO's name (Austin) was the only boy name we even came close to agreeing on.

(ETA: I am not the (now banned) user promoting her business in another thread, who also happens to have an Austin.)

  • I would start trying for another right now but daycare would be $500/week for two. I wish we had family in the area who could watch our LO(s). There are less expensive places but not by much.
  • Super late to this party, but our names are fairly set in stone for a boy: either Hayes or Harrison (totally NOT trying to stick with all H names, it just happens to be what we like) with my FIL's first name/DH's middle name as the MN.
If we were to have another girl, it would be a lot harder. We don't agree on very many girl names.

Also @SailorTink‌ my mom is a Cecilia, and I love it!

  • Jaykay, I wanted to name my boy Hayes (family name) but another family member beat me to it. She did tell me I should name my kid Hayes anyway lol.
  • @mrsp821,

You and I sound like the same person.

  • I'll play....girl faves for me are Emerson,Eve and Carys, boy would probably be Vander.as that was actually our number 1 choice with Finnegan, but we figured Finn was getting more popular and chose that before it became too common.
