If you paid for an elective u/s and the tech was not sure, she should have scheduled you to come back. That is not uncommon. Maybe you could call the place you went to, explain what occurred and see if they will repeat it for you.

I had my 16wk u/s done at a private company and they let you come back until they are 100% sure. The pictures I received were much more clear as well.

There may very well be some professionals on the forums that can tell. It up to you whether you want to trust their opinion, or the opinion of the technician from your appointment.

The same reason why there are so many selfish women on here looking for answers to just their questions/ concerns, without researching the board to see if it's already been asked. People like you are a dime a dozen. And it gets REALLY old. You come to this community looking for an answer to YOUR question and then you are never seen again. SELFISH. And if you don't get the answer you want, you tear everyone else down, call us bitches and tell us you feel sorry for our children and our husbands. You wouldn't just walk up to a group of a women that you don't know and ask them when you are going to start to show, why you are cramping, etc. Would you? Figure it out.

You've gotta give support to receive it. Not that hard.

If you have problems with the women who post on The Bump, that's fine. You obviously don't have to post here, especially if it's full of such "mean girls." While I think OP is being sensitive, she does have a point, this site is not about helping people, it's become a competition to see who can come up with the most witty remark or insult.

ETA: you're right, this site isn't about helping people. It's for entertainment and revenue. Some of us have chosen to stay and create a community. @debralea what exactly is terrifying? Has someone threatened you? Did someone say they were hiding in your bushes? This to me is terrifying. When someone asks a stupid question they are going to get stupid answers. When you go somewhere new you always look around first and get to know the atmosphere. I love how people call this a support group. Well heres the thing you want to think of this as a support group great. I'm in one myself. At my first meeting i sat there and listened first got used to the atmosphere and then spoke up later. I didn't just jump right in. That how the real world works and guess what, thats how TB works too. Wow how terrifying is that!

False. I've received & given very supportive responses in my time here. TB helped me cope with my losses & my Dad's unexpected passing. It has been beyond compare for me (and others) while TTC, pregnant & parenting.

You posted that your wife wanted to get and "elective" non-medical c-section because she was scared of vaginal child birth. We all gave you useful opinions and options and you never came back the thread. Maybe its you and your wife that need to grow up!

I just wanted to state that I'm new here and I've asked questions and have actually gotten great answers non of which have been terrifying or anything close. I'm not trying to be a bitch or be a mean girl but if you ask something on a website, as an adult be grown up enough to handle the responses. I read a few different posts before thinking everyone here is going to be perfectly nice and hold my hand no matter what...we are all grown women here and quite a few pregnant which while I don't believe hormones should be used as an excuse, buttons can sometimes be pushed easier than normal...but honestly if you have a problem with how people reacted to one post and you don't like how "mean" they were why keep whining by posting more about how mean they were in the first post?? If I was actually terrified I wouldn't keep coming back for more...I would leave and not come back...no ones going to hold hands and baby someone that can't handle some criticism. Sorry I'm probably a mean girl now but oh well doesn't hurt my feelings.
