In the spirit of annoying Facebook stuff, let's share the most obnoxious, ridiculous, infuriating Facebook posts on our news feed today! Or any day. Screen shot or copy/paste and we can all laugh at them. They may not know it, but they're asking for it. (but remember to keep it anonymous, obv)

Ads. I used to enjoy reading my newsfeed to catch up with friends and family, but I rarely log onto FB anymore because of this. I noticed Pinterest puts a ton of pins from people I'm not following in my feed now also.

I posted this in RTT several months back, but here you go again: I had to hide my uncle [by marriage] because in January he posted this: A young black kid asks his mother, "Mama, what is Socialism and what is Racism?" "Well, Child,... Socialism is when white folks work every day so we can get all our benefits, you know... like free cell phones for each family member, rent subsidy, food stamps, free healthcare, utility subsidy, and on and on, ...you know. That's Socialism." "But Mama, don't the white people get pissed off about that?" "Sure they do Honey. That's called Racism!" (Never more simply explained...)

And then in March he posted this: Will not be watching Acadamy Awards this year with Ellen Digenerate hosting.

I wanted to slap him. Hard.

@knotty-girl‌ there is a way to hide ads on the Facebook app. Do you have an iPhone? If so, go in your iOS settings, then go in Privacy, scroll to the bottom and click on Advertising. Then turn on Limit Ad Tracking. The ads have cut way down since I did that. In fact, I think they are mostly gone.

An acquaintance from HS just got married this past Saturday night... My feed keeps blowing up like every other post from her either pics or "thank you all for coming...blah blah". And they are on their honeymoon now and posting pics like crazy. Don't get me wrong, I am happy for her- but ENJOY YOUR HONEYMOON AND GET OFF FB!! DH & I turned our phones off as soon as we got to the airport! Unplug & enjoy....

Theres a way to block game requests. I don't remember it but you should be able to google it.

This guy I knew in high school is always posting pics like this (this is tame) and articles about boobs and thongs. Dude, you're 32! He's changed his cell phone at least three times since January and posts his number in his status constantly. He sent me an odd PM a month after LO was born that I'm pretty sure wasn't meant for me, so I ignored it. Time for a delete!

This girl got engaged when she was 20 and posted non stop about the love of her life 20 times a day. Then passive aggressive posts saying things like if people have a problem with her wedding then they can go fuck off, their love if eternal. Then a month later, a post about how she doesn't want to marry an alcoholic who doesn't love her and sorry to those who took time off and sent gifts she was just DONE. A few weeks later, however, the wedding is back on and she loves her "baby" and they're going to be together forever. This week? He's done and she can't believe he's already seeing someone else but whatever because all he gave her was bad skin. Since he's been gone her face has totally cleared up! Well....yay and btw, you can buy her never used wedding dress for $600

The curtain are actually the ugly yellow damask draperies that ladybird Johnston put in when she had decorated the Oval Office several decades ago. My friend shares these posts from a friend of hers (she's not a FB friend of mine but I know who she is) about the same exact thing. It's always "thanks for the prayers, he can now swallow on his own. Gods grace is so good" then asks for prayers that this goes well and then that goes well. I get it, she has an obvious faith in god and it's great that it gets her through such an awful situation, but I can't help but think about the doctors and surgeons who work daily to do whatever it takes to get this baby better. She never mentions them but thanks god for listening to her prayers. She apparently thought that naming her baby Christian would further motivate god to change his mind for all the awful things he decided to do to her baby.

Often times Christians pray for the doctors and surgeons. "Please, Lord, be with the doctors and medical staff. Help them to be rested and focused. Guide their hands. Thank you for their skills. Please bless them." While God ultimately gets the credit, we realize the abilities those great people have been blessed with and the heart they must have to have the passion and desire to help people in that way.

Over usage of emoticons is annoying though.
