Up super early to take my parents to have their second cataract surgeries. I didn't know my clock had a 5 AM.

DH and I went to dinner for or anniversary last night. It was a new trendy place downtown and we sat outside and listened to a band for about two hours. It was awesome!! I had the most amazing shrimp and grits (picture!)

There were paper overlays on the table, so we decided to scribble ALL our baby names and narrow it down. We walked away knowing exactly what was right for us, and it felt so good. I can't wait to welcome Harper Abigail and William Alexander to our family!

Wahh my dog has been up since 3 am whining. Nothing I did made him stop. Hes being a real freak and now I have to go to work on 5 hours of sleep

Your anniversary date night sounds fabulous!

My guy rolled over for some snuggle time this morning and all he kept mumbling was "ahhh why only Thursday?" It was cute.. And sad.. But guess what guise???? I'm actually getting a full weekend off this week!! We are going up to Michigan for the weekend!!

1) it's the tough mudder! My OB benched me

but I'm going to support my guy and our team!
2) I got a new friend to watch my fur baby.. Who is totally good with her sleeping in her bed

...I'm a bad owner who created a high maintenance dog. I can't tell you how much peace this brings to my life...
3) Staying at a friend's parents lake house so it's essentially a free trip!

Can it be tomorrow now?!

Having a horrible pregnancy day...

It's colder outside today and I had nothing long that I could fit or that was clean... So I'm wearing a short sleeve knee length dress with a cardigan.

We didn't have anything but ham and Turkey (no veggies) for me to take a decent sandwich to lunch today and DH had already left so I couldn't ask for his card to stop and get something. So I had to make PBJ for lunch... I hate PBJ.

And the only earrings that matched this dress broke as I tried to put them on.

All totally first world problems but IDC. I'm mad.

So my husband finally came home last night around 8 so I could tell him the sex of the baby. We are having a girl!!! We are so excited and Aidan will be a great big brother. Aidan is so excited to have a little sister. It was so cute we could see her playing with her toes and At one point it looked like she was grabbing at her cord. We are in love :x

Thanks ladies...can't wait for those maternity dresses to arrive...now to find some maternity pants...I don't want to order those online...those require fitting rooms. I'll ask DH about those next week...

Morning ladies. I was so exhausted last night I fell asleep by 9:30 and overslept my normal wake up time this morning- only by 10min but still that is crazy for me. And the sad part is, I hope I can sneak a nap in at lunch today. Is it the weekend yet?

I haven't been so busy this week I don't know what all has been happening around here. Anything important?

I think it depends on the state. I changed my name and renewed while living out of the country. They sent me a new one with my changed last name and old photo. So maybe not. I would rather be safe than sorry though and show up like you are getting your picture taken:)

I am making it a point to comb my hair abd put makeup on today. I refuse to look like I belong on "people of Wal-Mart" today. My hubby deserves better.

I had to retake mine but I'm in NM, but your state may be different.

So last night it was just me and my little man. Husband was in the field and will be until later tonight. So Cohen and I went to Hobby Lobby and Target, in search of fall decor. ....
Well I ended up getting a candle, doritos, popcorn and caramel pops. I splurged once DS went to bed and now I'm feeling so guilty. So I'm forcing myself to eat crazy healthy today. Wish me luck ♡ Also, I hope you ladies are having a fantastic day!!

My MD license still has the same picture from when I moved here, nearly nine years ago. They asked if I wanted to take a new one at my name change, but I said no. I've renewed by mail since then.

I'm working from home this morning, heading into the office in the afternoon since something came up at home. Kind of needed: after being up at 5:30 yesterday and having a long dinner with a good friend, I was grateful for a bit more sleep today.

I ran 3 miles yesterday and my body feels like I ran 20. I'm so achy. I need to be better at stretching out after.

Also I'm usually freezing at work and I've been roasting this week, so I think I've been starting the pregnancy body temperature rise.

Poor DD has a nasty cold and has been miserable sleeping the past few days. Her nose is stuffed up and she is having trouble breathing when she lays down. DH pointed out this morning that this is the first time she's had a cold, and it coincided with weaning her from nursing 2 weeks ago. I can't wait to be producing my super-amazing-cure all breastmilk again! (PRO TIP: for those who will be BFing, a few drops of breastmilk up the nose clears it up in about 2 minutes. Used both for the baby AND DH!)

I thought MD made you change your picture - that's the main reason I still have my maiden name on my license, even though everything else has been changed... since we've been married 5 years... Every time I think about changing it, my face breaks out or my hair looks like crap so I don't! Did you go in, or mail something?

@jmcgra06, I went in. Maybe it was my clerk, but when he asked, "New pic?", I said no, he didn't push.

My next one I need to go in and I'm sure they'll make me take a new picture. But that's not for another four years, so I'll continue to be frozen in time at 28 until I'm 41.

How did you bladder handle the run? I can hardly go more than two minutes without having to stop. My running partners said it is because this is my second pregnancy.

Bladder was fine thanks for asking:) I've noticed I feel like I need to pee but I don't actually need to.

Am I the only one (I know I'm not) annoyed by all of the "is this normal?" "What is this feeling?" Posts? There are a zillion lately and of course I have to click on every freaking one! I do just in case it's something I've been feeling and my notorious nonchalance, typically resulting in my ordinary stress-free attitude, is really some potentially LIFE threatening symptom I
...I mean it must be, right?! Because it deserved it's own special thread?

It's hard to just mosey-on-through this pregnancy sometimes when scardy-cats are everywhere.

Disclaimer: ladies who have experienced loss... I totally get being extra cautious... But it seems it's less you lovely ladies and more fellow FTMs who haven't picked up a pregnancy book or learned from the other experienced moms on here who all say it's normal.

@erobbins09- oh no you're not alone, I'm def. annoyed by them all...I repeat...all of them!

On a happy note- It's TGIT...I only work M-Th's I'm also going to Olive Garden tonight to celebrate my birthday a little early. Yay so excited! Also, SIL is getting married next weekend!
