LO went in for her 4 month vacs yesterday and took them like a champ. Everything was perfect. All day she was her normal smiling self- no discomfort, no fussing. I put LO down at 8 and at 10 I hear her moving around. She normally wakes and makes some noises and moves around but my mom-intuition felt something was not right. I went in and LO had her eyes open with a blank look and was stiff and shaking. Her breathing was short and gaspy and kind if labored. We quick picked her up (we didn't know what was wrong at this point) and put her in the car and raced to the hospital. After checking her blood and a neuro consult, the doctor thinks her shots may have caused a seizure, which is an unlikely side effect of the tdap. Going to follow up with an EEG and her doctor this week since everything else looked ok at the hospital. LO is back to her happy grinning self but my goodness it was a scary night!!

I'm sorry, you had to experience this, the EEG is a very simple test, not painful at all, just annoying. I hope all is clear.
I am glad to hear your little ones are okay. Please keep us posted!
Thank you @MK1013, my LO ended up having two more seizures Sunday morning, so they put her on anti-seizure meds.
The hospital called this evening to schedule the EEG, of course while I was driving and I missed the call. We will schedule it tomorrow. LO threw up twice today which she has never done. Hope it's not another symptom/side effect of something. Luckily no fever and no other problems.
Basically, her hands are clenched in fists and she holds them parallel to her body, she brings her knees up to her stomach, her eyes are rolled back and to the right and she shakes in a repetitive motion. She completely checks out, not like loss of consciousness, but doesn't blink, doesn't respond, etc.
Please keep us posted!
