I went to my 27 week appointment, baby is doing fantastic! But my doc informed me that not only did I lose 4 pounds since my last visit, but now I have ketones in my urine. I test for GD next week, but my doctor doesn't think it's that. My doctor told me that I was starving myself. Truth is that I think my doctor right. I'm either craving what I can't have at the moment so I don't eat or my stomach feels full after a few bites. Im going to have to start force feeding myself four times a day. Just wanted to vent and see if anyone else is going thru this.

Due to that, I guess I've become selective with my food. Thanks ladies for your honesty. Trust me, I know I need to eat. Just wanted to vent and was trying to see if anyone else was going through what I'm experienced.

Also, someone told me early in pregnancy to always have snacks on you and I haven't left the house without an apple or granola bar in 5 months.

D14 November Siggy Challenge: The feels of 3rd trimester...
I can't eat a lot and get full super fast thanks to LO taking up more room.
Like PPs, find those staple foods. Mine have changed through out pregnancy. Now I have oatmeal, yogurt, nectarines, and starbursts near by. (I know starburst isn't a real food but it is in my world)
Shakes are a great way to add extra calories and protein. You can look up some that use peanut butter or protien power too. Good luck!
Best thing ever- Black Raspberry ice cream drizzled with Peanut Butter. Nuke the PB for a bit to make it runny. Its amazing.
I'm not hungry, I'm HUUUNNNNNGGGRRRRRYYYY! NOW!

Anyway!! I work in a place that's difficult to leave so I can empathize for sure. I also have a toddler and a husband who travels way more than he is home. So by the time everything is done throughout the day, I often realize I haven't eaten nearly what I should. Sometimes you just get going and lose track of sitting down and having a full meal. I try (not always successful) to pack some snacks like pre-sliced apples and Brie bites, hummus and carrots and etc to take to work. Fresh market and publix both have awesome insulated "coolers" and they keep stuff cool for a decent period of time. Maybe that would help? Also, Greek yogurt will give you lots of protein and if you mix it with PB or Nutella it is a great, sweet fruit spread. Now that you're aware of what is going on and make plans, I am sure it will get easier. Everyone is doing their best - so maybe we should all try to cap some of the judgement.

That also reminds me I have wanted Olive Garden for the last week and DH refuses to go. Asshole.
OP, I struggled with nausea/vomiting for the first half of my pregnancy (still have little surprise phases of it now and again) and my appetite suffered for it. Some snacky type things that work well for me are:
Veggies, pita chips, and hummus
Protein bars (MacroBars peanut butter ones are my favorite!)
Almond or coconut yogurt with granola
Mixed nuts or trail mix
Homemade muffins (you can do protein muffins for an extra kick of nutrition)
Good luck! Hopefully you can use some of the suggestions the ladies made to fill the gaps in your diet.
And I'm with @MissChristineMarie on the peanut butter thing. Mix and match it with different stuff and you've got an easy at work meal.
