  It's Friday...we've almost made it through our first week! I'm so ecstatic! Even more so because my babe's day at DC yesterday was great. I went to pick her up and looked at the report that I get that tells all about her day, and only saw one nap listed. I thought great, she's going to be exhausted tonight and I'm going to get no awake time with her. That one nap was 3 HOURS AND 45 MINUTES! And we seem to be getting into a great groove of them feeding her and then putting her down for a nap right away in the morning. I am pumped that my babe seems to be taking well to the stay up late sleep late schedule. I know I can't possibly be that lucky two days in a row...but hey at least I had a great smiley time with her yesterday evening. We can do this ladies!!

  
  

  ETA I thought great sarcastically. I want as much awake time with her in the evening as possible!! Just to clarify.

  Tomorrow's my first day back. I'm grateful DH is being a temporary SAHD but I'm still sad to be leaving them for 10 hours during the day DH also has only watched them a few hours by himself. His family JUST left after a too long visit so he's already tired. Gah.

  Today was my first day back at work.  my mom watched lo and they had a great time.  I on the other hand was a wreck...literally.  i crashed my car in the parking garage at work because i was so excited to go pick up lo.  it took me 2.5 hrs to get home because the trafffic was horrible.  she was awake for 1 hr and i cried hysterically the entire time because i missed her so much.  now i have to pump and go to bed and start the day again at 4:45.

  I quit my job. It socks that we won't have the extra money and I'll miss the adult interaction. I could not do it. I spent only 1 hr with her yesterday evening and I cried the entire time. The worst part was telling my mom she would not be watching her. She got so sad. I feel bad but the baby needs her mom.
