It's a little deeper than that. I'm just tired and I wanna be normal again. I feel like were so close but so far from that. Like Bruno Mars says, just leave me some morphine. Lol!! Ok, not really but maybe.

It's timed perfectly too, because we're going to a Celtic festival next Saturday that has Highland game competitions etc.. So it's going to be a glorious day of Scottish-ness. I'm trying to figure out how to concoct an outfit with our family's plaid for LO in time :P

For sanitary reasons, it's just not something I'm comfortable with letting other ppl do. You can tell me all you want that you washed your hands but idk if that's true or how well you washed them. But, after I've thoroughly sanitized my own hands, I'll let Max nom on my finger. Babies like that kind of stuff. You'll often find that babies will grab your fingers and try to suck on em. Babies (and toddlers too) just like that. The soft end of a finger is reminiscent of a nipple. So, for that reason, maybe it's soothing or they're teething. Or just hungry (in which case you feed them). But a soft chewy finger (a soft chewy anything actually) is right up their Alley. Lol but, as I said, other ppl's hands just aren't a place for a baby's mouth for sanitary reasons.
ETA: btw! If he hasn't already started, he'll prob chew on his own hands Lol.
@jensavicci my LO has discovered his hand and if he doesn't have a pacifier he is chewing in his hand making a slobbery mess. It's adorable!

DS has been doing this too. Like lip smacking and slurping. He tries for his whole fist lol. But manages to get his thumb and a couple fingers. It's adorable. I had to video it.
Yes, yes, and yes!!! This year will mark my 20 year love affair with them. Literally obsessed with them. A few things I have in common with Gwen it's scary and I seem freaky for knowing all if these.

I don't go back to work for another month but this Thursday is the annual anniversary dinner for my job. Basically if you've been at the job 5 years, 10 years, etc you go to a fancy dinner at a catering hall and get an anniversary gift at the end of the night. This year is my 5 year so I was supposed to go to the dinner on Thursday. However, not a single dress I own fits me anymore! I am sitting in the baby's room crying because I feel so fat and now I can't go to this dinner thing because I have nothing to wear. Thought about going out to get something new but it's cutting it close and to go out with DD is always a disaster.
