Anyone up for a check in? Why are you waiting, and when do you hope to TTC again? Plus anything else you'd like to add

I am benched for 3 months (or so as my OB said) post miscarriage, that happened July 31. My OB isn't as firm as he was after my last loss, since I miscarried naturally, so we are going to see how it goes but are planning on burning the bench in November. Since I'm still waiting on AF, who knows where/what cycle I will be by then. I don't really want to try until I feel like my body has regulated, so praying after my first AF it bounces back quickly.

I've just had surgery. Waiting for the all-clear from my OBGYN to get back to business. Will also be requesting a referral to an RE to make sure we're getting better guidance now that I'm down to one ovary.

We benched ourselves initially until January for sanity reasons. Two losses in 4 months was too much. The more we talk about it, though, the more I think it may be much longer. We have a terrible support system and not much family we can count on, so it could be until DS is in kindergarten. I want to talk to my ob, though, because waiting that long may also mean we are just done if our issues have anything to do with H's age (he'd be almost 40 then).

We're benched this cycle because I'm having surgery on the 24th. We should be able to pick back up next cycle and am hoping the surgery will clear things out and it'll be our lucky month!

We've been benched for 3 months and are now just waiting for our MFM consult this week to see if she recommends any other testing or if we can TTC. We'll see how it goes!

I'm definitely up for a check-in! We were medically benched until I got my first post D&C AF which happened last week. However we decided to bench ourselves until November to heal emotionally and focus on our health. I'm also taking some supplements (DHEA and CoQ10) that are supposed to take at least 3 months to improve egg quality and I'd like to give them a fighting chance because if we have another loss we are moving on to IVF with PGD.

@TMaggie0424‌ , we had the same EDD with our last loss. I'm impatiently awaiting AF too. My OB hasn't really given me exact guidelines, but I'm supposed to get some testing done so I think it'll depend on that. We are hoping to try again in November (3 months post)

I am waiting on my next AF before I can burn the bench. AF is likely to come early/mid October and then we can TTC again.

Sorry for all the losses

I'm not sure that I'd call it benched but maybe? I'd like to be trying except we don't have a plan yet. My progesterone is really low and today is CD1 with an LP of 8 days. Grrrrr. But really we're not putting any effort into trying until we figure out if we can afford to see an RE or what we're going to do for treatment.

We are kind of. We saw a new RE and are awaiting test results. Our old RE benched us for one cycle after the m/c.

Perhaps I should intro...I just found my way back to the bump after having a m/c almost two years ago. We've benched TTC for a while now and I finally realized that I can't pretend that I don't want another child. We're still on hold for now as we're house hunting - and quite honestly I'm still a bit scared off about going through the stress of trying again. But gosh darnit, I want another one!
