not good. It was 103.5 today so we went back to the doctor (third time this week). Did another white blood cell test, saw nothing. They also tested her for a uti and the initial test was negative but they said they'll watch the culture over the weekend. If fever persists to Sunday/Monday dd will have to get more blood work done most likely in the hospital.

I know. She seemed better today so I was kind of surprised to see a temp, or at least that high of one. She's lost about a pound too. Fx that tomorrow she'll be better. @sleepy33
She had a fever of 101.9 this morning. Last night, right before bed, she had a 102 fever. I am contemplating taking her to the er tonight or tomorrow if she still has a fever. I don't want to subject her to tests if she is running a low grade fever, but if it gets to 103+ then I think it's time to get some answers. This has gone on long enough.
@deedee1017 I'm sorry this has been a super rough week for you guys!!! I hope he fever breaks today but if not they figure out what is going on ASAP! Poor baby girl!!! Good luck, keep us posted!!
Ugh I'm so sorry she's still running a fever! Have you been able to break it at all today with meds and such? Have you called your nurse line for any advice today? Idk what I would be doing at this point. I hope she's better soon.
Thank you. We gave her motrin this morning since she was crying and fussy along with the fever, but we haven't given her any more. At this point, I just want to see what happens without it. She's been getting motrin for a week. That can't be healthy either. There is an office open in our pediatrician's practice tomorrow. If she spikes high tonight, we're going to the ER. If it's less than 103 we'll wait it out and see what tomorrow brings.
Omg! I'm so sorry you have been through so much. I hate fevers they scare me! I am glad Olivia is better . Hope things are better for you and in sorry your going through a rough patch.
Well, yesterday she didn't feel warm at all so I didn't take her temperature. After trying to get her down for a nap for two hours today and constant crying I took her temp and she had a low grade fever. I called the dr and they told me to head over to the hospital for some testing. They did some tests and thankfully they all came back okay. She was also monitored and her fever never came back. So, i'm keeping my fingers crossed that my sweet little girl is on the mend.
Your well wishes and concern for dd mean so much to me ladies. Thank you.
