GOOD DAY TO BE A BROWNS FAN! Now time to watch the Broncos win.
Now back to your regular discussion...
My husband is originally from Cleveland so he is over the moon excited right now! I was pretty impressed with them, too. Usually they find some way to totally screw up. I thought for sure they were going to lose by 1 because of the extra point they missed.
With my pelvis feeling like it's about to break, all my nesting plans are out the window. I was planning on filling up a box per day (for our move) until baby comes and doing some serious deep cleaning and now I don't know how that's going to work.
In the mean time, I do have someone watching DS for 5 hours on Tuesday to give me some time for cleaning and I've scheduled a cleaning service in 2 weeks for a few hours. I hope that's enough to get everything accomplished because I doubt I'll be doing much outside of those 2 scheduled times.

My Program Director is so concerned about me going into labor at work that she just approved me working only through October 3rd. Originally, because I am using only sick and vacation days to cover my leave, I was going to work until my contractions were too intense or my water broke. I worried that starting my leave early would mean coming back early, but she is offering this extra week+ off paid.
DH and I had a talk about what I wanted to get done today in the room that may, someday, become a nursery (namely, moving out the last of the office supplies and storage bins so that the room can be empty and ready for painting later this week).
What is he doing right now, you ask? Napping. Not a single thing has been moved.
@MrsSinner402 the nursery looks fantastic! We finally hung up pictures yesterday. I can't believe were already almost there. Seems like just yesterday we were all just making appointments to confirm our pregnancies!
Another random: I keep giving baby girl the hiccups. Poor baby! I feel bad because she gets them multiple times a day. Although it's annoying to me I get it's more annoying to her.

Edit: autocorrect spelling. Stupid iPad
I was under the impression LO gets hiccups as a result of his/her own activities (signals to diaphragm, gulping amniotic fluid, etc.). I also read it's not annoying to the fetus, but not sure if that's true or not.

I am really tired and kind of ticked off, because DH was completely wasted at his man shower and I put a lot of work into it :-P but I shall AW a few pics anyway...

What exactly is a man shower? Did you guys throw it?
I threw it as a surprise for him! It was low key, invited his friends, had some beer pizza and wings, and the theme was "Huggies and Chuggies" so they brought diapers.

@golfingdarwinfish that's probably true. I have no idea how they get hiccups. I just feel bad for her. Well at least I can stop feeling bad for thinking I keep giving them to her
My daily 2 mile walk just kicked my ass. That's what I get for taking 2 days off while I was away! I thought all the dancing at the wedding would make up for it!!
I was going to skip the walk, but after putting on a pair of medium pajama pants from pea in the pod and discovering that they are tight on my thighs, I felt like I had to do something. Why aren't their pajama pants oversized?!?!?!

@Saragoeswest - I did 3 sessions today of a few minutes of stretching my hips on all fours and I feel much better now than I have in the last 2 days. Not sure if that's the answer but it feels like it's worked so far.

Ugh. I'm having contractions that every 30 minutes or so. They hurt like hell and the last half of the contraction radiates up my spine and into my neck/jaw. Probably from how the spawn is sitting. Someone tell this kid that tonight is not a good time. Maybe Wednesday around either 5am OR 5pm? You know, if it HAS to be this week...
Just realized I'm 35/35 today. Woo hoo! I still have a lot to get done, too. Whoops.
That was me yesterday. Woohoo! Also, I'm concerned that your ticker says our uteruses (uteri?) are a thousand times their original size. No wonder everything hurts.
Haha, I haven't been on a desktop today so I haven't seen the change yet. 1,000x?! Kill me now!

Whenever I have BH I feel them radiate up into my chest and neck.
Oh so that's what I have been feeling...I was not 100% sure it was a contraction because it radiates all the way up to my upper back and neck. I had a bad one at work on Thursday and freaked my coworker out. My BH before this have been mostly painless. Since Thurs I have had a few contractions with that weird pain.
It feels kinda like a super short neck ache with the associated stomach tightening.
Exactly. Mine last roughly 1.5 minutes and I have to remind myself to relax through it.
Hospital bag is packed and home birth supplies purchased and organized. Yay! I'm ready for any eventuality (well, at least with regard to supplies, that is).
@beezbeez I am not familiar with the home birth idea, but I'm confused why you would be packing a hospital bag for a home birth... feel free to flame hehe
Ok so I was fairly productive tonight. I wish it was due to nesting but I really had to force myself to do it all. Anywho, cleaned out the hall closet as well as the kitchen cabinets and filled up some boxes for goodwill from both. Also washed and folded a load of laundry, We needed more storage room for baby. It's amazing how much junk we have accumulated in the past 5 years that we never use or even need, When we bought the house it seemed so spacious. Now, not so much.
I need this baby to be here by Halloween. We bought my daughter a Sully costume and the baby has a Mike Wazowski sleeper and hat. Obviously this kid should understand and run with the theme.
Also, since I accomplished nesting-ish activities today, I'm going to treat myself to an enormous (and I do mean ENORMOUS) piece of Boston Cream Pie.

That was a rough one for a Saints fan
And a really rough day to be a LIONS fan.....
***
When isn't it a rough day to be a Lions fan though?? I'll stick with my Tigers and Red Wings.
** Yes it is much easier to be a Tigers and Red Wings fan. But born and raised a lions fan can't change that haha.
Haha, I hear ya. That's how I am with the Wings...born and raised, and grew up playing hockey. No changing that! Football was never big in my house, so I never really became a Lions fan.
Yeah Baseball is was always our thing. I love Football, but I really LOVE baseball. played my whole life.
