Rant! My first cold in over a year.

My doctor warned me that while pregnant I would be sponge for everything. Well sure enough I traveled for business and was extending the trip to see a friend I haven't seen in two years and I come down with a stupid cold. Now I am not sure if I should see my friend or hang out at the hotel all day. I don't want to get her kids sick.

    Call your friend and ask? Also gage how you feel since taking care of yourself is also important.

    I agree you should take it easy--I'm finding powering through isn't a sensible option during pregnancy. Can your friend come meet you somewhere nearby?

    She has kids so she is probably used to it. I know between my two boys, someone is always sniffley. Lol. Call her and let her know but my bet is she won't care.

    I'm sorry :(.  I woke up this morning with a wickedly sore throat....I know the rest of the cold symptoms are still to follow.  I'd still meet up with your friend.  I agree to call her first, but she probably won't mind as long as you clean your hands and don't get too close.

    I feel your pain - I work in the schools and got a cold this week. Drink lots of fluids - hope you get well soon!

    I know how you feel, I got the first symptoms last night and now it's full on cold :( I feel miserable! Hope you feel better soon!!

    I was starting to get stuffy this weekend and by the end of my work day I had to keep blowing my nose! Ugh! Luckily my students were taking a school standardized test on the computer so I got to sit back a lot and not teach but I am doing NOTHING tonight! Hope you are feeling better now!
    Married my best friend 7/2/11 - Furbaby born 7/9/11 and brought into our home 9/1/11

    BFP#1:   2/2/13 ~ exact m/c date unknown but around 3/20 at 10 weeks ~ diagnosed with PMP ~ D&C on 4/5 ~ TTA for at least 1 year due to PMP ~ cleared to TTC 1/14

    BFP#2:   2/7/14 ~ m/c 2/20/14 ~ possibly due to chemical pregnancy ~ TG no D&C is needed 

    Surprise BFP#3:  4/4/14 ~ super duper extra happy (and nervous) about this one - EDD 12/9/14!!!

    John Joseph was born on 12/12/14 at 7 lbs. 11 oz.  He is the most beautiful rainbow baby we could have wished for!
