We met through a mutual group of friends. We ran into each other at a few gatherings and I thought he was really good looking. Nothing happened though until an outdoor concert on Flag Day (2006), we both had a few beers in us and ended up dancing together most of the night. We've been together ever since.

My fiancé crashed a girls night with my sisters. One of my sisters were leavin for Texas (we're from ohio). We were supposed to go bowling and have a couple drinks just the four sisters. We'll her now husband decided to crash it and invited a friend. I was a little erked that girls night got cock blocked...lol. When the friend walked in I felt mortified cause I thought he was hot as hell and I was just in my work clothes not really lookin like anything special. I avoided eye contact at all cost and tried not to make it obvious that I was into him. Apparently when I went up to bowl he started to grill my sister for details and my number. She told him he was on his own. By the end of the night he had gotten me to talk to him. I was hooked and he asked for my number.

I talked about him the whole way home to my baby sis. She said I had to wait for him to text me cause I wanted to text him that same night...lol. So I waited. Three weeks passed and I had almost given up. The he texted me. We talked via text a couple times before he worked up the nerve to ask me out.

Our first date was dinner and a movie. I was so nervous but it went off without a hitch. That was until the very end. He drove me back to my car. We sat in his truck for a minute talkin, I didn't want it to end. Then even though it was raining he said he would walk me to my car which was only two parking spots away.Adorable!! We were both getting out when I felt a sharp pain in my ass. I grab it after I stand up and there is blood on my hand. I pulled a piece of glass outta my butt check that apparently had been on the seat. He felt horrible. I was bleeding pretty good but it was nothin to worry about. We said our awkward goodbye standing in the rain, then he kissed me:). It was perfect except for the bleeding ass part...lol. Been together ever since.

We met on jdate. I just broke up my 4 year relationship and was a bit on a rebound. My friend convinced me to create an account on jdate and I just ended my trial there. DH actually paid for his account. Since my grandparents were visiting from Israel I kept on delaying our date and we just kept on talking online and on the phone. We had extra long conversations. At one point he said that he is coming whether I wanted to or not. We scheduled a date and the first person who met him was my grandpa. That was one and only time he saw him. We moved in together 6 months later. Got engaged after 2 years and have been married for 7.5 years already with 2 wonderful kids and another one on the way.

We met our sophomore year of college. My sorority had an informal gathering called "crush party" prior to our big fall party. I was set up with his friend and he was set up with one of my sorority sisters. He approached me and asked how I did on the last organic chemistry test. I had no idea he was even in that class! Needless to say we just had "chemistry" - cheesy, I know.

We went to high school together but weren't friends. We only had German classes together. We hung out a bit on a trip to Germany after graduation. About 7 years later he found a profile of mine on a dating site and emailed me. We talked a bit online but he was in the military and was in Germany at the time. A few years later he was back in the United States and contacted me. That was it. We were engaged 7 months later and married the next year.

DH and I met at college, we went to a small school so I knew his face as a guy who was at a lot parties lol but I didn't actually meet him until I joined the campus EMS squad which he was already a member of. Then it turned out that he lived in the apartment below me and we had some mutual friends (which I hadn't known before) so we just got to know each other more.

I found out later that he was suggesting EMS stand-bys for me to go to, not to get me more involved in the squad, but to hang out with me there lol. Ultimately at first I thought he wasn't my type (him being a typical frat boy just minus the frat and me being very bookish) but out mutual friend convinced me to give him a chance. Glad I did!

I met my DH years ago, I was 15 and he was 20. I was out walking my dog and he was having dinner on his porch. I had a huge dog and it was practically dragging me, and my now hubby thought it was hilarious before he decided to help me. He now says that he thought "I wonder where this dog is taking this girl..." After that, he would walk with me every night. I had the biggest crush on him but he now tells me that he thought I was too young and he was in college. I moved away and lost touch with him until about 5 years ago when I saw him in a supermarket and we've been together ever since

I had just moved back to the states (2008) and was sick of clingy Mexican men wanting a green card, so was more or less game on for any American man to have his way. It's been almost a year...........

Was my friend Ryan's birthday. We're still friends and he laughs at this story now. Group of is went to a baseball game. He was WAY too into the game to notice very obvious flirting. Eff it. Friend invited her other friend Clifford (frat house name) out. DAY-UM.... That'll do!!

Ended up splitting the big party in two to crash at houses (2of us lived downtown, safety first) and we ended up making out in my kitchen. First night words I can remember saying to him? "I'm drunk. I will not sleep with you." haha

Went to the same small college, we're both Greek, and overlapped 3 years with the same major but never met there. Had heard of each other, but never met. Both figured it'd be a fun summer fling before he went back to college. Fast forward over 6 years, 3 cities, and 2 countries later we can't wait to be parents!!!! Love dating my best friend, quite literally, in the world!!!

But REALLY, my friends and I were lost walking around looking for a party at night freshman year in college. We were stopped on a corner, and this guy u-turns his car and asks us to get in for a good time. I would never EVER get in a stranger's car....but I did that night with my friends. He took us to a party for a girl celebrating her ginormous boob job bday gift, and he introduced us to his quieter, tamer younger brother (my husband). We hit it off and he respectfully drove me home when the party got too crazy. He was so sweet and we hung out every day after. So technically, his brother picked me up on the corner...but that doesn't sound as cool. And weirdly, the corner we were on when we got picked up is called "The Corner". Promise I'm not a hooker

My husband and I first met when we were 8 years old at my grandparents house where I accidentally pushed him through a window....
All the kids from my grandparents church (I was living in Maine at the time but was on vacation in florida to visit my Gma and Gpa) were hanging out in one of the bedrooms bouncing on the bed and being ridiculous kids and I bumped into my now hubby and sent him crashing into the window. When the parents came in to assess the damage, he didn't blame me or anyone, he just took the fall himself.

H and I met back when we worked together in a retail store, he was in a relationship for 5.5 years and I was engaged to someone and had been with them about 3 years. H and I were really good friends and would spend all day together at work (it's a cell phone store so close quarters) and became flirty friends but nothing ever happened, we even went on a couple of double dates. Then our current manager at the time transferred to a new store and it ended up being closer to H's house so he asked to go too. I was surprisingly super upset about it.

Our work threw him a going away party since it had been about 1.5 years that he worked there and my FI and I went, I went straight from work and he met me there. After the party FI left and it was just me and H there to say goodbye, I started crying because "I was losing my best friend," but I think it was more than just that.

We both realized there may be more there then we ever told ourselves so we didn't know what to do. The following week his gf was going camping with her family for a week and my FI and I had issues and he wanted to stay at his moms for a week to see if he really was sure about marriage. So it worked out perfectly in a way. We decided to spend that week together hanging out and spending time together to see if there was really something there and we had a lot of fun.

We talked about it a lot and decided we wanted to try and be together since neither of us were happy in our current relationships. I decided to call of the wedding and lose my deposits and he decided to call it off with his gf and here we are!

I was freshly out of a relationship with my HS sweetheart. Wasn't looking for a relationship, just friends because I had recently moved from Cali to AZ and knew no body but my mom. I was hanging out with a new friend and now DH texted me and asked if I wanted to see a movie, I agreed (only because it was still daytime and the movie theater was in a very open public area) He showed up in slacks and a button down shirt (a huge deal for him because he normally lives in jeans, tees and baseball hats) with flowers... I had no clue it was a date, I had jeans, an old tee shirt and a baseball hat on my self. He took me to see The Orphan and to dinner. At dinner he told me he was moving to Ohio in 2 weeks, so in my head I thought cool we'll just hang out and he'll leave and that will be the end of it.

We were inseparable for the time that he was in AZ and when he moved to OH I was completely devastated. We talked every night on the phone (2 months) and eventually he moved back to AZ to be with me.

We've been together since July 2009, had our little girl 12/21/12, moved from AZ to Ohio Jan 2013, Married New Years Eve 2013 (going into 2014) and are expecting #2 April 2

I got a puppy, and needed a new place to stay. Rented this really cute house by the lake. Met some of the neighbors and was invited to a Halloween party, said everyone in the neighborhood would be there. I came walking down the street in my costume and hear "Are you seriously a ninja turtle?" That was my husband. Since then we've been pretty inseparable and even included ninja turtles in our wedding. He didn't actually live in the neighborhood, but apparently his brother had just moved out of my house and that is how he knew about the party. Was definitely fate!

I actually met him through one of my best friends in highschool (he is her brother) and i had a secret crush on him for about a year before i made the mistake of telling another mutual friend i had a crush on him! That friend told his sister who came bounding up to me shouting "OMG OMG OMG YOU SHOULD ASK HIM OUT" and then even though i had just planned to tell him my feelings i ended up asking him out when we went for a walk in the middle of a local anime screening! Then his sister (who must've known he'd say yes) had balloons blown up with 'congrats' on a bit of paper and we awkwardly shuffled back into the screening room away from the commotion.
It was pretty embarrassing! But we've been dating since high school

My friend is in the air force guard and after a drill she started dating a guy from the army guard in RI. She got tired of making the drive from NH to RI by herself and begged me to come with her and meet her bfs roommate. I reluctantly agreed I had never been set up before. I tried to get out of it the whole way there. Long story short I met my DH that day fell head over heals and have never looked back.
