Halloween Costumes

Anyone thinking about Halloween costumes yet? We decided to coordinate since DS and DD are so close in age..not to mention that they're basically the same size since DS is a chunk. We went with Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf. I think it's going to be adorable!!

We were going to do the wolf and red ridinghood too but I can find a baby wolf costume. I found a super cute baby lion costume and I think it would be super cute to have Audrey be a lion tamer, but I change my mind every day so who knows?!

Brody really wants to be a teenage mutant ninja turtle. I'm going to spend the next month trying to talk him out of it.

As a compromise, I am hoping to go with batman and robin.

Can anyone think of anything besides Dorothy that goes with a lion? Or an elephant? I saw a cute one of those too

I love the lion tamer/circus idea. Or you could do a safari theme. Lion and the Mouse or Dumbo and mouse.

On the first Halloween we did a zoo animal theme with giraffe, zebra, lion and monkey. It was cute.

my husband is going to attempt to make a robot costume for Cruz...I can't wait to see how this goes down. He's got an insane amount of artistic ability so no matter what it will be better than if I try to do it.

And I just started looking at disneybound Dalmatian outfits. One of the dresses is almost exactly like my referral dinner dress. When I lose 1034lbs and fit into it again I'm so being a Dalmatian.

I have put absolutely zero thought into Halloween costumes. I don't even want to bring it up to keagan yet because then he won't stop talking about it for the next two months. "Mom, is today Halloween yet? How about tomorrow? The next day?"

That's what I orginally thought I would do. I've looked up Cinderella costumes and I just can't with cheap character costumes. I tried.

Word. I can't do those polyester numbers either.

For DD's first Halloween, she was a Dalmatian & DS was a fireman.

This year, DS wants to be Voltron, so there is little hope for a matching costume for DD. She is suddenly pretty into Cinderella, so I might go that route for her.

Emma is going as Catwoman, Beckett is Bane, Sawyer is Wonder Woman, Lennon will be Harley Quinn and DH and I need to figure out out costumes still. Something Super Hero or Batman related.

Halloween is huge in our neighborhood--the whole town comes down our street to trick or treat. So we'll do a family costume. We did Alice in Wonderland last year--I was Alice, DD was the Cheshire Cat, and DH was a playing card. This year I'm drawing a blank. She loves dressing like a princess, though, so maybe we'll just be princesses together

We were going to do Peter Pan and Tinkerbell, but then DS decided he wanted to be Captain Hook. So I think DD is going to be the crocodile. I have to actually find and order the costumes.
