I'm on day 8 of stims tonight. My estrogen was 569 today, they are happy with that, it's more than doubling every 48 hours. Seems a bit on the low side to me, after googling, but they don't seem worried. My scan today seemed good, I have 22 follicles, 11 on each side. Probably 10 of them were measurable to my untrained eye, the rest she counted quickly but I can't say I really saw them. I start ganirelix tonight. Next scan on Sunday. Likely retrieval Wednesday at this point. This is perfect timing for my job, hope it goes as planned.
I am also PUPO We transferred two 5BB blasts on Wednesday morning, and I just flew back home today. @IFinTN and @Hollowberry, it was so cold this morning!
My beta is a week from today, 9/19. My current plan is to POAS on Friday morning before I go for blood work.
QOTD: There is only one ice cream, the alpha and omega, mint chocolate chip.
Me: 34 / DH: 33
19-year history of endometriosis. Multiple surgeries and cyst removals. Forced directly into IVF due to blocked tubes and severe adhesions.
IVF w/ICSI and CCS #1 - Dec 2013 - Only 1 normal. Ended in CP
All of these bfp's have me all excited! I don't have much to update. I'm 5dp5dt and waiting for my beta on Friday. Good luck to the huge list of Pupos!!
Qod: love me some cookies and cream ice cream.

Hello Sweet Peas! Checking in a day late because I came down with a terrible cold yesterday. Sinus congestion, coughing, headache, you name it. Just sucks. I'm so worried it will cause problems for this IVF cycle- our last chance.
Here's the update. It's cycle day 11 for stims and I'm sitting at the RE office waiting for BW/US.
Yesterday, the report showed 19 follicles ranging from 16.5-9.9. Of those, it looks like maybe 10 will be mature in time for retrieval. Lining is 14.8 and estrogen was 1438. I think they might tell me to trigger tonight and have retrieval on Monday. FX.
I feel like my uterus is beyond bloated. Every time I cough, I feel a twinge and worry that I hurt a follicle. Is that even possible?!
QOTD: I love ice cream more than anything! My favorite is probably any type of gelato, but coffee flavors are the best.
Edited after BW/us today: 19 follicles Sizes from 19.9 to 11.1. But it looks like 9 will be mature for retrieval possibly Tuesday. Lining is 15. Estrogen will be known after 3 today. Getting excited.
We're doing a 5 day transfer tomorrow. I answered the nurse's call at 730 am on Friday, and to be honest I was still laying in bed- now I'm regretting not writing the times down because I'm second guessing and will have to call the weekend nurse!
So excited to see all the bfps and everyone moving along. Hugs to everyone!
Qotd: I love ice cream! I despise when nuts are mixed into it- if I put just on it it's OK sometimes.. I'd say I love a sweet cream, with chunks of good chocolate and real fruit (ie- DQ's chocolate dipped strawberry)
@emmuffy Thanks so much. Really wishing the best for you too. My ET is tomorrow. I suppose I'll have to find out tomorrow AM if there's anything to transfer because I haven't gotten any reports on if the 2 embryos are still growing or not. I suppose there's no point in worrying about it, so I'm trying to just stay positive. It is kind of amazing to think that this might be the 1st time my husband's sperm and my egg have ever truly met successfully, so it gives me some hope to think of it that way.
@kaly75 You mentioned being worried about Ganirelix, so I'm assuming you mean the sting of the injection. Not sure if this helps, but honestly, I found it to be the least painful injection. It's true that the needle isn't quite as thin/sharp as Follistim, so you do have to insert it quickly to get it in. After that, it really helped for me to go SUPER slow with injecting the liquid (made the mistake of going too fast the 1st time -- didn't hurt but left an ugly bruise later). You probably already ice your skin for a few minutes, but that has helped me too. Good luck!
@emmuffy and @amyalbert thinking of you both. FX for those little embryos!

Beta is in... 400. It was 19 last time, so this is certainly an improvement. Next beta on Monday. I'm so thankful that Monday is not very far away... and I will be peeing on sticks until then.
Thank you for all of the support!

Mini-update... When I called the RE's office on Friday, they told me that I get to start my stims tonight.

Just had my ET. My lonely 2 embryos did indeed make it to day 3, which I am so thankful for. One was a 10-cell grade 1 (best quality). Also got some additional info from the experimental EEVA study I am in, which said it's the most promising quality. Granted it's only day 3, but I'll take the good news. My RE just transferred it!
Was trying to talk him into transferring 2, but he was concerned about twins given the decent quality and my age.
The other was a 13-cell grade 2. That's a lot of freaking cells! Sometimes having a lot of cells is a good thing or sometimes it means it's abnormal. Their hope is to let it go to Day 5/6 and then freeze it as a backup. Hoping it makes it!
@ChristieH917 - so sorry to hear about your brother in law! T and p for a speedy recovery.
@jwoods2011 - Woohoo! Great news!! I've started using a wondfo every morning for the past few days and so far mine are all negative. I'm 6dp5dt so trying to tell myself it's just too early. Hoping to be not too far behind you!

AFM - I just got back from vacation feeling all relaxed and ready to start this cycle. I've been on BCPs for the past 2 weeks and go in for my baseline appointment in the morning. Hopefully my cysts will be gone and I will start stimming tomorrow. I'm definitely cutting it close for September, but I should have my ER around the 30th. I think all the positive energy from this group will be good news for me.
QOTD: I love mint chocolate chip. Or chocolate peanut butter. I just can't decide when it comes to ice cream.

@ crazygirl7882 - Thank you hun, I used just the strip tests - as thats all thats available here in Sudan, I didn't get a darker positive until 9dp5dt. There were faint lines from 5dp onward but they were so faint I was not feeling very confident about it. I hope you announce soon that you've got your BFP!

@christieh917 I hope that your BIL is doing better. I'll say a prayer for a speedy recovery
I was totally MIA this weekend. Between working half of it and running the other half I haven't had more time to check in with you lovely ladies! I have been able to throw out some likes though. I went to my first drive in movie.. it was super cool and I went to see "once" at the Hippodrome last night which was fantastic! Looking forward to a full check in tomorrow with all you lovely ladies!

The stims are going well. This is my first time on Menopur and it kinda burned a bit. I started stims last night but my baseline was this morning. I am waiting to see how my bloodwork goes. I hope that I don't get cancelled before I even really get going. I seem to have estrogen issues. I talked to the nurse this morning and my cycle in June had high estrogen in the beginning then went low and that was why it got cancelled.
As for my BIL, his surgery keeps getting delayed. As of now, he is scheduled for 5pm today.

@ChristieH917 Menopur burns like hell, I iced up the area before the shot, that helped somewhat. FX that you have nothing to worry about and your levels are ok!
@HCAMP123 I think I still feel it today!! Also, I bled after that one. That only happened to once when I was on just Follistim.
I am happy and freaked out all in one. The nurse gave me a possible reason for the last cycle being cancelled and then said she wasn't going to call me this afternoon. I just about had a fit and begged her to please call me.
