Re: FFFC

  • Cracker eater coworker just came and dumped some of his work on my desk. Literally a few hours after we had a discussion with our supervisor about what work belonged to which person.

I'm not your fucking assistant. Do your work. Leave me alone.

  • I don't know if this is a confession, as much as just a thing I need to get out.

But I'm really worried about DS being short.  He's only 20th percentile for height (25th for weight). And I worry about him being the little guy everyone in middle school beats up on.   DH is 6'2" and I'm the shortest in my family by far at 5'6" - but both of DH's half brothers are on the shorter side, FIL is around my height, and two of DH's nephews needed growth hormones in Jr. High.  My own brother was very short until his HS sophomore year - he ended up being over 6'5" so logically I know he may not always been little, but I still worry that he'll be that 5'5" man who women don't want to date because they can't wear heels.
My son is similar. My husband is 6 foot. P is trending short right now. DH was apparently always tall growing up, but both his brothers were TINY until late high school. They are both 6'2 now. I think some kids just have late growth spurts.

  • I'm 4'9". Once some guy said that he didn't want to sleep with me because I reminded him of a child.
  • I haven't read the whole thread, but my comments are:

    1. That Hot Geisha sushi thing looks so good.

    2. DH is 5'8", and I think he is perfect. He is all the time talking about how he wishes he could be at least 2 inches taller, but I don't think it takes away from his hotness at all. But I might not date a guy who is shorter than me just because I don't want to feel "big," so I could see it if a 5'10" girl wanted a taller guy.

    3. DS is 36.5 inches and only 22 months, so he could be over 6 feet if the "age 2 height x 2" thing is correct. Both of our granddads are tall. We'll see.

  • It's hot a fuck and muggy like a taint in July.  Hopefully this weekend is nicer.

It is indeed taintlike outside.  Taintesque, if you will.

My brother is 5;7" and trust, women want to date him.

I get what you mean, and I too want DS to be tall.  That said, it's one of those things that can seriously happen so late in childhood... like a kid could grow a foot in high school.

    Late to this again....

To add to HE's comment, @PrivacyWanted‌, I was one of the shortest in my class up until HS. I'm 5'11" now. Looking at his genes overall, I'd think he has a good chance of gaining ground height wise.

(Anecdote, my dad is 6'2" and my mom was 5'6". My older brother is 6'3")
