This is a check-in for those who are doing IVF/IVM or FET with an ER/ET scheduled for September. If you are interested in joining, please fill us in on your cycle below. Please include what cycle number this is for you, where you are in the process, when you expect to start stims, and when you're planning on retrieval and transfer. (Also, please update us along the way!)

Good morning Sweet Peas!!!!

I am so happy that we have such a big group. It is hard to mention everyone, but I have read every single update. As usual, please check out the list and let us know if you are in the wrong group.

AFM: Today is day 1!!! I will calling the RE office this morning and I am guessing that I will be starting stims on Monday.

QOTD: I love moose tracks!! I love "stuff" in my ice cream. The moose tracks has peanut butter cups and chocolate swirls! If it had nuts too, it would be perfect.

Seems like a lot of BFPs across the board, looking forward to seeing those come up for sweet peas!

AFM, had bw and us yesterday to see how things are progressing. Lining was only at 5.6 so they are upping my estrace to 3x a day and my ET will be on the 22nd. Yippie, a date! Seems so far away though. Will continue to keep busy.

@kaly75 It is so hard not to obsess over every little thing. It is also hard to not compare it to the past. The past is what you know. The whole process is very emotional and the meds just add to that. I can't wait to hear what tomorrow's appointment brings!

@daydreamernyc It is great to have a date. It gives you something to look forward to. The 22nd does seem far away but will be here before you know it.

@Bandy514 Do you know if you get a follicle count on Monday?

I cannot believe how big this group is!

So I'm 3dp5dt. I knew on Tuesday that we had 4 frosties. I found out yesterday that out of the remaining 6 they were still watching, one more made it to freeze. So I'm good with 5. I also found out that the 2 they transferred were 3BB & 2BB. They kept saying how high quality they were, but I am doubting it since I thought the best was 5AA.

QOTD: I don't think I could pick a favorite.. I LOVE pretty much all ice cream!

*** BPF warning***
Good morning ladies. After three days of light sporadic spotting we bit the bullet last night and POAS at 10dp5dt. BFP!!! It was a strong line (close to or as dark as the control line). My beta is on Monday. I'm sure that I will be POAS again between now and then.

Since I had some more spotting this morning I called the nurse to see if there is anything that I should do or be concerned about. She reassured me that everything is fine and she isn't worried. She thinks is a great sign that my line was so dark. I just need to stay hydrated and take it easy. When she congratulated me it made it feel real.

I'll still be a big bag of nerves until my second beta and until this spotting stops.

FX for all you other ladies!!

QOTD - peanut butter cups in either chocolate or vanilla ice cream.

Hello again! I am having FET tomorrow of one day 5 blast. Embryologist says it looks like there may be 7 perfect embies to freeze. All 15 that have fertilized and divided are looking good so they will let us know what's going on ice and what's not. I'm hating my endometrin...yuck. But going for a spa day today to be good and relaxed before transfer tomorrow! Yay! I love love love DQ blizzards and I could eat a banana cream pie blizzard with Reese's peanut butter cups until I die. Yummmm....time to get one? Hmmm.... Have a great weekend and good luck to all!

WTF Snow in September ????? @IFinTN‌ I did see a rainbow A couple of days ago.

@ky29‌ I'm with @viola27‌ don't focus so much on grades. My clinic uses a different system than everyone else. My RE told me not to focus on the number because in the grand scheme of things any rating can turn into a pregnancy. In my state they have to freeze even the lowest grades and he's seen many of them turn into healthy pregnancies. Also, I don't think B vs A is that much of a difference.

AFM, I'm PUPO as of yesterday. I missed the last check in because in order to get several days off in a row I had to do 3 12 hour shifts in a row. it was yucky. I was unprepared yesterday (which is unusual for me ) for the transfer and couldn't find my doryx pill but luckily I had refills so we stopped at the pharmacy on the way to the transfer. my two little embies were there waiting at the clinic and apparently they looked pretty good. They were already hatching which was a surprise. so, I'm 1dp5dt. Just trying to stay occupied. Beta isn't until 9/22. We're going beta or bust over here. I think.

favorite icecream is piece of cake for hard ice cream. I like chocolate/vanilla twist in custard though.

@Pintobean39 - So when do you think you'll test? I guess you're technically only one day behind me!

I was going to try and hold out until the day or beta or before.. but I'm not sure I can. However, I'm not sure I'm ready for the disappointment.

@ky29‌ my beta day is friday 9-19. My goal is to test 6dp5dt which would be 11dpo and that's when I got all my other BFP. BUT one of mine was a 6dt so I can't decide if I should test tues or Wednesday. So I may just start testing Sunday or Monday. Then again I may chicken out all together.

AFM, just found out we will get to have a 5dt eSET on Monday!! We don't know how many of the 8 are left but will find out Monday if we have any to freeze... I would be thrilled if we had a couple to freeze. Anyone else doing ET on Monday?

QOTD: chocolate chip cookie dough... or I would be totally fine with skipping the ice cream part and just eating some cookie dough

I'm 2dp5dt and really not 'feelin it'. I don't know if it's the estrace or the hCG wearing off (or the progesterone or God knows what else I was on) but I've been feeling pretty hopeless since yesterday. It sucks. I don't even have the anxious anticipation of all my previous cycles. Maybe I've just checked out emotionally because we had nothing to freeze and this is our final kick at the ART can. I want this little embie so bad, but I feel like he/she is all I've got left - and that's just too much pressure. Beta day is 9-19 but I'll probably start testing on Tues or Wed next week.

QOTD: I love ice cream, but rarely have it, as I'm sensitive to dairy (and gluten and cane sugar and yeast etc. etc. etc.) But I love Rocky Road, Mint Chip, and Heavenly Hash. I also tried this amazing carrot cake ice cream in Minneapolis one time and it was epic.

I'm just (impatiently) waiting for beta tomorrow. @hollowberry I'm with you... after my CP last time, I'm hesitant to celebrate. I feel like the BFP can be taken away at anytime. It seems like we will always be worrying about something though! Trying to take it one day at a time and acknowledge the positive steps being taken.

As for ice cream, I'm also a Talenti girl. @buttmonkey34 I have some sea salt caramel in my fridge right now! My favorite, though, is the chocolate peanut butter cup. I also like stracciatella gelato. And, I had a ridiculous birthday cake ice cream cone recently - it was vanilla with like funfetti cake chunks and sprinkles - I think it was the best I ever had. Good thing that ice cream shop was out of state or there would have been a problem. Yeah, I like ice cream.

@HollowBerry‌ - it was the spotting that pushed me to POAS a couple days early. We are both happy and relieved to have done it when we did. I'm freaked about CP too. FX for good betas that behave.

AFM, on day 7 of stims. Thought I had everything under control until last night. Now I feel like I am messing everything up. I posted last night that I was taking my first Cetrotide and had some redness and swelling. Again you guys came to my rescue and told me that it is a temporary reaction, which it was. What I didn't post was that I have been using the wrong gauge needle the last 5 nights, yea 5 nights, 22 gauge with Follistim and Metopur. Feel like I am loosing it. I guess this is what I get for trying to hide it from my MIL, which lives with us. Should have been more careful. Had my monitoring today, so had to tell my nurse. She only felt bad for me that I was doing that for 5 days, that or just my stupidity. Anyway, my RE doesn't give me all the numbers that I see everyone putting on their posts. All she told me today was that we are moving along and she is definitely going to increase my meds tonight. And that the biggest one she see is 13. She didn't tell me how many there are. And I didn't want to ask as I cry at the drop of a hat and I am going on 2 hours sleep. Yesterday morning I woke up with major lower back pain. I told my RE about it today. She said oh yea definitely your ovaries, and it is going to get worse. I can tolerate pain. But when I tell you, last night, I was in the bath twice, within 2 hours. and sitting on floor trying to stretch my back out. I can't wait for this stimming to be over

Hello Ladies!

Congrats to the PUPO ladies and POAS BFP's!! Crossing my fingers for everyone!

Finally found out the info from my blood test on Monday. My lining was at a 6. E2 was 1410 and Progesterone was a 1. She said my lining is fine and will continue to thicken this week, but what if it doesn't. Dr. Google stated the lining should be at least an 8 to have a successful pregnancy, so this has me a bit scared since they did not have me come in for another lining check.

This morning I started the dreaded progesterone shots this morning, and it wasn't too bad! DH did a great job! I barely slept last night worrying about the shot (and getting up early to order the new iphone). Monday is our transfer! So excited to find out the specifics. I keep checking my phone every few minutes in hopes of my nurse coordinator emailing me the specifics.

Congrats on all the great results so far!

I just did my ER yesterday, so I'm in between ER and ET now. It went smoothly -- even the dreaded IV needle wasn't too bad. Though I apparently stated coughing mid-surgery (I've been recovering from a cough -- only happens when I lie flat down), so they had to suction the grossness from my throat (ick).

They got 7 eggs. I was hoping for 8+ since I had 8 good-sized follicles and a handful of smaller ones. Guess I was hoping there might be some lurkers. But I was ok with 7 and I felt totally fine yesterday -- emotionally & physically.

Today I just got a fertilization report. Only 2 eggs fertilized normally. The other eggs didn't do well: 2 fertilized abnormally (I asked for clarification, but didn't get a really clear answer on what that means -- other than it might mean 2 sperm entered or that there was something wrong with the egg). And then 3 didn't fertilize at all.

I have to say, I'm bummed about this. I knew there was a possibility that my egg quality wouldn't be great. I know it only takes 1 good embryo, but I'm just disheartened that my chances just got a whole lot worse with only 2 fertilized eggs to work with. I'm scared I might not have anything to transfer on Day 3.

My RE didn't recommend ICSI or PGD to me. My husband's SA has been great each time he's tested. I assume it's my egg quality that is behind this, but just curious if anyone has any insight/thoughts.

QOTD - I'm an ice cream-a-holic. I grew up on Haagen Daaz "Vanilla Swiss Almond" -- I felt like I hit gold whenever my spoon hit a chocolate-covered almond. There's also this amazing ice cream shop near me that has a delicious flavor. It's a simple vanilla/cream base with Biscoff cookies mashed in it, and it is divine.

AFM, you can official move me to the stimming group! I took my first shot of menopur this morning and had no huge issues. The q-cap was being difficult, so we just opted not to use it. Bloodwork scheduled for Sunday and first monitoring scheduled for Tuesday.

AFM: I had my final monitoring today. E2 was 931, and tech measuring 6 mature follies, with alot small ones. They are comparing only 3 from each side, but said I have a whole bunch. I have to trigger tomorrow night for retrieval on Monday morning.

QOTD: I love any chocolate Ice Cream, and Love Love Caramel Hagen daz.

There are so many of us here! I had my transfer on Wednesday so I am in the 2WW and will be trying (most likely unsuccessfully) to wait fro my beta draw and not POAS.

QOTD - I have to pick a favorite? I love ice cream! There's a place by me that makes a vanilla caramel swirl - yum! Other than that i guess cookies and cream or strawberry.

@brlee225 don't feel bad, I used the wrong gauge needle for my first dose of Menopur. After that terrible experience and some searching I found out I didn't need the 1.5 inch 22 gauge needle... the small needle for injecting makes a world of difference!

so many PUPO! can't wait to see BFPs!

on 8th day of stimming. had an u/s and b/w yesterday...have 7 follies between 11 and 16 and 5 under 10. my E2 is only 191 though. on minimal stim protocol but they upped my bravelle dosage last night. i go back tomorrow for monitoring. hoping for a big rise in my E2. i should be stimming through at least sunday with ET wed/thurs.

fav ice cream is vanilla/caramel or black raspberry!

@kayla75 the ganirelix isn't that bad. I had minor itching after the injection. Personally I thought the menopur stung way more! You will be okay!! GL!

@Pintobean39 I always feel the same way after my et ... Its like a freaking Christmas count down!

@emilee871 WOW I stim long too so I feel your pain!! 12 days you deserve a spa day.. Tell your dh that I recommend it

@amyalbert I'm sorry to hear about your lower fert report. I know how devastating that can be. I hope that this cycle is successful but if you have to try again I would recommend using ICSI. Sending positive thoughts your way!

AFM: I went in for bloodwork this morning at CD18 expecting the nurse to call me and tell me that I can start the lupron tonight. But guess what?? I still haven't effing ovulated. What in the hell is the hold up?? I know that I went for 50 days without having AF and they had to give me provera to start it. Now I haven't ovulated. I have no clue what the issue is. I go back on Monday for another bw check to see if I can start. This cycle is having set backs after set backs. Hopefully Monday will bring good news.

QOTD: Im not a huge ice cream fan but I do love Ritas Ice. I'm super excited that they have their pumpkin ice now and plan on getting a cup this weekend!

@amyalbert, I am sending some big hugs your way. I know how hard this is. We are basically in the same boat - I had 8 retrieved and 3 fertilized, but of those, only 2 are still growing (got the call today). Hang on there. The RE and I had a good talk and she told me she has seen pregnancies (even twin pregnancies) with only two embryos. Fx all of our embies keep growing well.
