Weeks: 17

Fruit: Ogres are like onions...

Appts/Symptoms/Rants: I finally got to schedule my 20 week A/S! Only three 1/2 more weeks until I get to see my little Baby V again! My only rant is that I hate that I had to take a sick day for stomach bug when I am trying to save all my time.

GTKY: Are you making any babymoon plans? Only a long weekend to a family cabin in WV. It should be relaxing and romantic. :-)

Appts/Symptoms/Rants: Not really!! Energy is good, a/s is scheduled for Sept 30, I'll go next week for my Quad Screening blood draw.
GTKY: Are you making any babymoon plans? We're going to an inn in NH for our anniversary next weekend, a wedding in Philly in November, and traveling for the holidays. Guess one of those counts as a babymoon??

Appts/Symptoms/Rants: I am in limbo. I only have appts. every 5 wks. so not another for 3 more weeks. Still no bump. Still wearing my regular clothes. Still feeling no movement. Still no symptoms of anything. Honestly, if I couldn't feel my uterus getting bigger I would think I wasn't pregnant.

GTKY: Are you making any babymoon plans? We are going to Jamaica next week

- although we had the trip planned for our anniversary before we found out we were pregnant so its not really a babymoon.

We are actually traveling a fair bit this fall, again not because of the baby, H's friends have started to get married so we have 2 weddings - 1 in Oct and 1 in Nov., then north to visit family over Thanksgiving - none of which are local to us and the 1 wedding in NYC is costing us at least a grand

stupid pretentious expensive NYC. the only saving grace is that I get to see a show on Broadway!!! <-- suggestions for good shows are welcome

Week: 18 tomorrow

Fruit: Sweet Potato...I think

Appts/Symptoms/Rants: I've been feeling pretty good. I've been really hungry this week so I'm thinking maybe the baby had a little growth spurt. No appointments until my A/S on the 29th.

GTKY: This isn't a babymoon, but we're going to Arizona next month to see my grandparents. We haven't seen them since B was a few weeks old. This will be B's first time on an airplane, so I'm a little nervous about that.

Appts/Symptoms/Rants: A/S scheduled for Oct 8. Feeling so much better now. Just wish I could sleep better at night!! And I wish DH would make a decision about the baby name already. Audrey or Chloe?! I think Ella is on Team Chloe, which makes 2 against 1... grrr..

GTKY: Are you making any babymoon plans? Not particularly. When we go to Vancouver for Christmas, DH and I are planning on spending a couple of nights downtown and leaving Ella with my parents. That's about as romantic as it gets after you've already had a kid! :P

Appts/Symptoms/Rants: A/S is scheduled for next Wednesday, it is earlier than I had it with DS so I hope everything is developed enough to get a clean bill of health for this little lady

GTKY: Are you making any babymoon plans? No! But my crazy work travel starts next week (on the road for almost three weeks straight) and I have so far finagled two free massages at the high end spa resorts... so that may be a little babymoon sans DH.

Fruit: Onion on Sunday (17 weeks)
Appts/Symptoms/Rants: I have an appt today. I got up early so I could shave my legs. This is my first appt with the new OB, he may need me to undress. Poor DH, he doesn't even get shaved legs from me. I also have a sore throat. I may be coming down with something. Hopefully I can schedule my A/S after today's appt.
GTKY: Are you making any babymoon plans? We would love to, but it's hard with DS. We will probably go to the state fair tomorrow and I'm happy with that. A weekend away would be so nice though.

Appts/Symptoms/Rants: Just had my 16 week and heartbeat was awesome. We also found out TEAM BLUE last Saturday! My next appointment is in two weeks for my A/S, so I'm excited to make sure baby is right on track with size and parts. No rants, really. We think the name will be Nathan James but we're kind of sitting on it for a little while before we officially commit. The other top choice was Henry George, but I like just Henry and DH likes "Hank" as a nn, but I don't. We both agree on Nate, so I think the nn will really be the clincher. It's nice to be close on the naming thing

GTKY: Are you making any babymoon plans? Not really. I mean, we went to Disney in August for a wedding so I think we're counting that. It's not a good time of year for us to take off, so we're more likely to just have some "staycation" weekends.

I LOVE Nathan James. What a great name!!!

18 weeks!!

I think we're navel oranges (ETA : correction, sweet potatoes) this week...IDK.

No appts but I have to call and see about my anatomy scan being scheduled. Sleep has officially become uncomfortable. It's the only time of my day where my pelvis, lower back and pinched nerve all are aggravated. I love how pregnancy prepares you for the lack of sleep to come after birth. :-)

I would like a baby moon, but I don't think DH is totally on board with or something. Plus we don't have anyone nearby to keep DD for a weekend, so unless we babymoon in NC or MD, it wouldn't be an intimate getaway. We shall see. I'm thinking of making Thanksgiving weekend our babymoon since we'll be near family and DD can stay with my aunt and uncle and we can babymoon in DC...

Week: 19 today!! (Friday) woot!

Fruit: mango

Appts/symptoms/raves: Had my level two on Tuesday-baby was great!! I have a low lying placenta right now but doc isn't concerned and I will have a follow up in 10 weeks. The sex of the baby is in an envelope hidden in the house. We will open it Saturday!! Then had reg doc appt Thursday and everything was great as well!

GTKY: We are going to a wedding in November so we are thinking that may be our only time to have one. This will be my first night away from DD

We're hopefully going to stay in Colorado for Christmas with DD. My parents have a timeshare at this ski resort and I miss snow and need it in my life. We just have to see how much vacation time DH has that we can spare before Lucas comes.

Appt/Symptoms/Rants: next appt is Sept 17th and a/s appt is Oct 8th (feels forever away!!!) my belly has really popped now in this last week. I felt like a fatter fat lady before but now I'm obviously pregnant!

GTKY: Probably not, we are right on money right now. Plus we are also going to be driving to Texas next week (from AZ) for a death in the family. This is will likely use up any spare days off my husband did have to spare.

Eta- GTKY b/c bump hates my post apparently and censored me.

Fruit: onion (more of a veggie I think)

Appts/Symptoms/Rants: had a check up this past tues and we got to hear our baby's heartbeat for the first time!! It's such an amazing sound! Symptoms are better mostly just tired all the time. My husband is also loving how often I burp now.

GTKY: Are you making any babymoon plans? Prob no real trips but we are very close to the Jersey Shore so we will prob take a day trip this fall sometime.

Appts/Symptoms/Rants: Next apt is Tuesday for a follow up U/S (16 1/2wks). They out of nowhere told us Boy at our NT Scan at 12wks but said they'd confirm at this appointment. I'm sure it's a boy but it'll be nice to know for sure. Otherwise getting the 2nd round of bloodwork this weekend. NT Scan and 1st round of bloodwork showed a healthy baby so hopefully all is well. As far as symptoms I've been feeling great since week 12 and hope that continues. Belly is definitely starting to pop! (I show late)

GTKY: Are you making any babymoon plans? We've never done any sort of "babymoon" with any of the kids and considering this is #3, highly unlikely lol we will be visiting IL's in FL and doing Disney World at some point in the next couple years which I am looking forward to, though will be a lot harder with 3! (this baby was a whoopsie!)

Appts/Symptoms/Rants: Checkup appt with OB on 9/22, followed by A/S on 9/24. I can't wait! I pretty much have no symptoms, just the occasional stretching feeling. I'm not really even showing yet. Hoping that changes in the next week.

GTKY: Are you making any babymoon plans? Doubtful. I want to save up vacation time and I feel like I did a lot of traveling this spring/summer. I honestly feel guilty going away and having to have someone watch our dogs.

Only new symptom is I'm starting to cramp when I run.

GTKY: Are you making any babymoon plans? Not yet. We had briefly discussed a weekend trip to Indianapolis (to catch a NBA game and take DD to the Children's Museum) sometime in December/January, but we haven't booked anything yet.

Appts/Symptoms/Rants: Blood work for part 2 of screening was yesterday, and we have our check in next Friday. Only obvious symptoms right now are that I'm still pretty tired and feel super chubby. I want to pop but I feel like I'll atleast have to wait 2 more weeks.

GTKY: Are you making any babymoon plans? We are going to St John in a month! This is our second time and we are so excited. We are right on the beach this time which will be perfect - we won't have to pack up and go to a public beach!

Appt/rants/sympt: next appointment is the a/s on October 8. Can't wait because it will have been 6 weeks since last appt. team blue, we found out with the harmony test at 12 weeks. Still wearing regular clothes with loose tanks but am going shopping today finally for my first maternity clothes!

Gtky, baby moon: we leave for Spain and portugal this week! This was technically planned before we knew and for our anniversary, but now is also the baby moon. Glad we had it planned though because otherwise I would feel guilty about taking a vacation from work with them knowing I'll be out soon in February.

Appts/Symptoms/Rants: It's been a crazy month getting back into the work routine (I teach 3rd grade) & I miss spending my days with ds! Exhausted all the time, but I think that typical if you have an almost 2 year old little boy who never stops moving and you work full time!

GTKY: Are you making any babymoon plans? No baby moon, but tomorrow I turn the big 3-0, and I think we are going to plan a weekend away to celebrate in the next few weeks! Can't believe I'm going to be 30!
